I'll tell them that I love them
I'll tell them that I'm sorry
For all of the disappointments

The small get-together escalated to going at a bar. Bokuto was the one who suggested and the others agreed, however, Iwaizumi tagged along. He was not in the mood to go out, but he didn't want to be alone with his thoughts inside the apartment. They got to the bar at around 8pm and invited more friends over. The ones that were able to come were Daichi, Sugawara, Tanaka, Nishinoya, and Y/L/N. Iwaizumi did not know Y/L/N was coming since bars were not the best choice for Y/L/N's comfortability.

Y/L/N arrived with Sugawara since their apartment were close to each other and they were officemates. Y/L/N already felt uneasy, but Sugawara gave a reassuring look to Y/L/N. Before walking in, Sugawara told Y/L/N that if ever it becomes too suffocating, call him as soon as possible. Y/L/N nodded and continued to walk until they reached the table.

"Hey, guys!" Nishinoya greeted everyone and the others greeted the newcomers.

Iwaizumi immediately looked at Y/L/N to check if ever Y/L/N felt uncomfortable. It was a false alarm and Iwaizumi slouched back to his spot. He cannot stop thinking about what he said while he was drunk. Iwaizumi thought that Y/L/N must be confused as to what it was for or why Iwaizumi said it. He wanted to talk to Y/L/N  in private to clear some things up. Iwaizumi was feeling cooped up that he has to ask Y/L/N to talk. Yup, he thought himself as a chicken.

"Iwa-chan, just talk to Y/L/N." Oikawa whispered and gestured where Y/L/N was sitting.

"I want to talk outside." Iwaizumi replied.

"Then, go. No one's  stopping you to do so." Oikawa sighed and kept nodding at him.

Iwaizumi nodded and stood up to walk over to Y/L/N. No one was sitting on the right side and he quickly adjusted to Y/L/N's height to ask if he can sit on the empty seat.

"May I sit here?" Iwaizumi asked.

"Yes." Y/L/N replied while nodding at him.

"I know what I sent already." Iwaizumi blurted it out, wasting no time.

"Do you want to talk outside?" Y/L/N asked.

"Do you have the time and mental capacity to talk about it?" Iwaizumi asked for Y/L/N's consent because it might be uncomfortable.

"Of course, I'm getting uncomfortable here, too." Y/L/N chuckled and stood up.

They both went outside of the bar and moved over to the well-lit side of the bar. It wasn't that private, but people will not hear what their conversation is about.  Both of them sighed and turned to face each other. Iwaizumi started to sweat a bit more than the usual.

"Do you want to start?" Y/L/N asked.

"Yes." Iwaizumi replied.

"Okay, go on." Y/L/N said.

"I would like to apologize for my poor behavior while I was drunk. It was very rude of me to just send you drunk texts and not give a proper explanation for a few days." Iwaizumi said.

"Do you still like me?" Y/L/N asked.

"What?" Iwaizumi shockingly asked.

"I won't repeat what I said." Y/L/N replied.

Iwaizumi gulped and his hands started to sweat inside his pockets. Y/L/N patiently waited for his answer. When Iwaizumi exhaled and looked at Y/L/N's eyes, he was finally ready to answer. However, Y/L/N cut him off too fast and too soon.

"Don't answer. It's fine." Y/L/N said.

"What? I was about to answer." Iwaizumi softly spoke.

"No, I'll ask you some other time." Y/L/N replied.

"Oh, okay. Let's go back inside." Iwaizumi said.

"I want to go home." Y/L/N answered.

"Okay, do you want me to take you home?" Iwaizumi asked.

"No, thank you. I'll ask my friend for a ride." Y/L/N answered.

"Okay, I'll wait here with you." Iwaizumi said.

"There's no need for that." Y/L/N slightly pouted which Iwaizumi found cute.

"Yeah, I know. I insist." Iwaizumi chuckled while Y/L/N playfully rolled eyes at him.

"Fine, but as soon as she's here, go back inside." Y/L/N sounded as if he was ordering him.

"You're so cute." Iwaizumi spoke softly. He thought Y/L/N didn't heard what he said and looked the other way.
