You have the wrong keys
Let me walk you out the door
I don't want this anymore

After coming home that night, Iwaizumi always thought of Y/L/N. Why would Y/L/N say that? Iwaizumi's thoughts were all over the place. It was Tuesday and he didn't have a hectic schedule at work. Besides, he is also the manager of this gym's branch. It was around 12:30 and he took his break.

Iwaizumi wanted to go for a walk and just eat a sandwich at the park. He hasn't told Oikawa or any of his friends about his interaction with Y/L/N. He sat down on the bench and took out his sandwich. Iwaizumi didn't forget his phone this time and only has 45 minutes for his break.

Iwaizumi was sitting comfortably on the bench and started to eat his sandwich. It seemed like it was a nice day. Iwaizumi sighed and drank water from his water bottle. He was still thinking about Y/L/N.

"Why would you say that?" Iwaizumi whispered to himself.

"Iwaizumi-san?" Someone called out. He looked to his right and saw his former volleyball rivals.

"Tsukishima?" Iwaizumi asked and stood up to make sure if it was him.

"Hello, Iwaizumi-san." Tsukishima greeted Iwaizumi

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Iwaizumi asked, while he puts his sanwich inside the small paper bag.

"We're just going out for a walk. My apologies, this is Kuroo-san and Bokuto-san." Tsukishima gestured towards the guys he was with and Iwaizumi greeted them.

"Hello." Iwaizumi greeted with a small smile.

"No need to be so formal." Kuroo shrugged.

"Where's Akaashi?" Iwaizumi asked.

"You know who he is?" Kuroo asked.

"I got used to seeing him with Bokuto every after competition." Iwaizumi replied.

"He'll be here!" Bokuto enthusiastically said.

"Iwaizumi-san, why are you here?" Tsukishima asked.

"Oh, I decided to eat my lunch here. Yes, it's just sandwich." Iwaizumi said before Bokuto could have interrupted.

"No wonder you're ripped as hell." Kuroo complimented, but the atmosphere became silent.

Bokuto was looking at Kuroo with his eyebrows furrowed. As if he was asking why Kuroo said that, even if it was a compliment. Iwaizumi was a bit flattered hearing it from another guy. Tsukishima felt the awkward tension building up and wanted to leave. However, Akaashi appeared at the right time.

"Iwaizumi-san, it's nice to see you again." Akaashi politely greeted.

"Hey, Akaashi." Iwaizumi replied.

"Now, that he's here. We'll excuse ourselves, we have other stuff to do." Tsukishima gave a small nod and Iwaizumi understood immediately.

"Alright, I'll go back to work anyway. It was nice seeing you guys!" Iwaizumi said and grabbed his stuff to walk away from them.

"Let's have an intervention for Kuroo right now." Bokuto suggested.

Iwaizumi was on his way back to work and he still has 15 minutes left. He stopped by a small coffee shop, not where Oikawa was working. He didn't want to see him outside their apartment.

"Iwaizumi!" Someone called out.

Why are there a lot of people today? He asked himself. He slowly looked to his right to see Y/L/N. Iwaizumi was quite surprised and mentally face palmed himself.

"Hey, Y/L/N." Iwaizumi greeted.

"I never got your number. Is it okay if we exchange numbers?" Y/L/N asked. Iwaizumi was taken aback at how straightforward Y/L/N.

"Sure." Iwaizumi replied and smiled at Y/L/N.

"Thank you." Y/L/N said.

"Y/L/N." Iwaizumi softly called out and Y/L/N looked at him.

"Yes?" Y/L/N asked.

"You still feel like home." Iwaizumi blurted out.
