The next day around lunchtime I met up with Brynn at the bridal shop so we could look around.
It was overwhelming when I first walked in but Brynn asked if we could look around and she started pulling things out she thought I liked. I want simple but cute and well Brynn knows my style.
She picked out three different ones and so did I and then I went to try them on.
I came out in the first one and it just wasn't me. By the time I got to the fifth dress, I really liked it but went ahead and tried the last one on as well.
"I really like that fifth one what do you think Brynn?"
"That one is my favorite. Does it need to be sized?"
"No, it fits just perfectly."
"Then it was meant to be Reyah."
"Ok, then let's go pick a color out of you then."
"What color were you thinking for me?"
"Umm a green color. Not dark but not neon green either." I laugh.
"Ok look there are several. Pick out the design." She said.
"Well, Brynn you have to wear it so you pick the design."
"Really Reyah?"
"Yeah, I want you to be comfortable in it so you pick how you want it to look."
"Ok well, I like this one should wrap around dress. What do you think of this color?"
"Oh, I love the color! Go try it on."
As she tries it on my phone beeps.

I put my phone back in my pocket when Brynn walked out.
"Oh, Brynn I love that color on you!"
"I like it too and guess what? It fits." She laughed.
"Well let's go check out and then go look for flowers."
"You already have shoes Reyah?"
"Yeah I ordered a pair online and they will be here in a couple of days."
"What about your hair are you going to wear it up or down? Do we need accessories?"
"That probably wouldn't hurt in case I decided something last minute."
"What about makeup?" Brynn asked.
"Have you met me? I have all of Holland Kane Maverick's new pallets." I laugh.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Her makeup is so snatched."
"Why do you think I have all of them?" I laughed as we walked to the checkout.
Once paid for Brynn took them with her and we drove over to check out flowers. I wasn't really picky with those so I would let Brynn pick them out.
We looked around and I didn't know one flower from the next. She picked some flowers that went perfectly with our colors.
"How soon do you want this wedding?"
"Umm soon. I wonder if Madden has asked Shirley yet?"
"Why don't you call him so we can go ahead and place the order."
"Ok, I can do that. I pull out my phone and call Madden.
☎️ Hey babe what's up?
☎️ Hey Madden! We are at the flower shop and want to go ahead and purchase flowers but I don't know for what date. Did you ask Shirley if we could get married at the lake?
☎️ She said we could as long as she gets an invite.
☎️ Of course she is invited.
☎️ How about next Saturday?
☎️ You want to marry me that fast?
☎️, Of course, I do Reyah. I love you so much.
☎️ I love you too Madden. Ok, next Saturday it is. I gotta go pay.
☎️ Ok see you soon babe.
"Shirley said it's a go and he wants to get married next Saturday."
"Wow ok well, we better get those flowers ordered. All we need to get is get him a suit and whoever his best man is."
"I'm sure that will be Jerrick and I told him he could wear a suit he already has if he has one. I will find out this evening."
"And if not send them to Joey's dad you know he owns that suit store."
"Ohhh yeah, I forgot about that."
I paid for the flowers and paid a hefty fee to be delivered to the lake that morning before the wedding since it's an hour away.
We hugged goodbye and I headed home. After loving on the cats I figured I should probably cook some dinner.
I got chicken out and put it in the oven with some bbq sauce on it and cut up a salad.
It wasn't long until Madden walked into the door. "Hey, babe! It smells good in here."
"I thought I would make dinner. BBQ chicken with a salad."
"Sounds good. I'm going to go take a quick shower and I will be back down."
He kissed my cheek and ran up the steps with the cat's hot on his heels.
By the time I got the food on the plate, he came back down smelling all fresh.
I sit the plates on the table and he got the drinks and silverware.
"So how was the shelter today?"
"Busy! I had a dog have puppies and so now we will have them until they are ready."
"Did you take a picture of them?"
"Yeah, I will have to show you."
"Then we need to take the picture and post it on your Facebook and that way people will know when they are ready and you may be able to adopt them out Madden."
"God, you are smart! I didn't even think of that."
"It's fine I can do it for you." I smile.
"So you found your dress?"
"I did I tried on six but I liked the fifth one and it was my size so no sizing needed and Brynn found hers the same way."
"What color is her dress?"
"A green color. So now just you and I guess Jerrick need to find your suits. If you don't have one Joey's dad owns a shop downtown."
"I didn't know that but we probably need to make a trip there and soon."
"You better if we are getting married next weekend." I smile.
