*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*

I slide my finger across my iPhone screen to turn off my alarm. I look at my blinding phone screen, it's Friday. I slightly fist pump the air. It's the last day of school before holidays. I get up and straighten my curly hair. After I straighten my hair, I apply my make up.

First foundation, then mascara and last I fill in my eyebrows. I step back and look at myself in the mirror. I brush my hair to the sides, take a deep breath and smile. "Fake it 'till it's real" I say aloud to myself. That's something my mum always says.

I walk out of the room and go into the kitchen. I smile and give mum a kiss on the cheek while she's making sandwiches, "good morning mummah." I grab a bowl from the cupboard, crush in some weetbix and pour in some milk. I grab the spoon from mums hand and sit at the table to eat my breakfast.

I drink the last of the milk then drop the bowl in the sink. I wipe my mouth with the back of my hand then go in my room to get dressed. I put on my school uniform and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

"Make sure you grab lunch" mum says popping her head in the bathroom door. "Mmmhmm" I hum with a mouth full of tooth paste. I spit out the toothpaste and rinse my tooth brush then I grab my bag.

I go to walk out of the door, "Did you grab lunch?" Mum says while plating Emily's hair. I walk into the kitchen and stand there for a few seconds, pretending I'm getting lunch. "Thanks mum, have a good day!" I shout closing the door. I put in my headphones and walk to school.

•••••••15-20 mins later•••••••

I walk into the school gate and into the locker area. I hug all my friends waiting there for me. I get my books from my locker and as I go to walk to my class, someone shouts and gets my attention and I run right into Jack.

Shit!

"Oh hey, sorry I gotta go, have fun at footy training tonight" I say in a rush and walk off. I go to the other side of the Max (home room), sit next to Bianca and sigh of relief. Bianca is my bestest friend and 'wifey' and Jack is dating one of my friends Terry but I have loved him since year 8. Even though I'm dating Riley. He is my best friend Zaliah's ex. But she is now dating Joseph, he is my ex, who told me to kill myself. Confusing, right?

"What's wrong?" Bianca asks propping back on her hands. "I just full ran into Jack.." I say fixing my books. "Oh, shit. Was he mad?" She said raising her eyebrows "I dunno. I mumbled something and ran off" I laughed, Bianca giggled.
