Crossroads where Rock meets Country

Chapter One

It was time for the country tv show of The Band Perry, and my husband's band. "Babe, we need to talk before we go." Patrick says as he takes my hand but we aren't there yet.

"I just want to remind you that it's country and it's on tv, so no humping me when it comes to Sugar." I nod but he knows I'm sad because it's my absolute favorite part of the show. He kisses me to calm me down, and asks "are you good?" I nod and kiss him again.

"Now I am," he kisses my cheek. "You're so cute I love you so much." 

"Aww baby your too sexy, and it makes me love you even more." I say as my heart starts to pound harder still after almost twenty years together. Ten of those being married, he still makes me feel like we first met.

"Baby before we get off. The way you kiss me it's like when we first met, and it makes me all tingly inside. I love that about you." I say as we look into each other's eyes and kiss again, then we head off the bus. When we're inside the venue, we meet the band we're playing with. They are siblings and so nice. 

"Are you his girlfriend?" Kimberly asks, and we show her our rings, she showed us hers. "Aww how awesome is that. I hear you dance for them, are you going to dance tonight?" she asked me.

"As much as I can, yes!" I say sounding unsure of my self. 

"Very good, and we will do rehearsals soon." I laid out a loud sigh of relief.

"What's wrong?" One of the brothers asked.

"She's just nervous about her choreography, she'll be fine." Joe answered, and it's time for rehearsals, and I still do mine separate just so I know the setlist. I as always have my hand in Patrick's pocket. I'm also his security blanket, and he is mine too. The siblings thought it was weird that I'm out there just waiting with my hands down his pants. Their manager comes up and tries to take me off the stage. Kimberly understands, and tells him that..

"They are each other's security blankets, they are very much in love. Don't do that again!" She says in a firm voice.

"She's very firm with him" I whisper to Patrick. "I like her" I say, "Ditto, but your still my girl." he says with a smirk. "I know my love" I kiss as we wait, and do more rehearsing. 

After they are done it's time for me as I have the playlist in my ears, and Patrick is always with me to help on my dance moves. We balance each other out. He loves what I dance, but sometimes it doesn't fit the song. For example with 'If I Die Young'

"Honey, I have no idea how to dance to this song." I tell him, and he tries to come up with something, and even that didn't work. Kimberly was actually watching us.

"I can help with that" she comes out saying from the side of the stage scaring us. "Sorry I couldn't help it, but you tow are so perfect for each other. You help him, he helps you, it's like what I've been looking for. Anyway here's what you can do" she shows me and I'm impressed. 

"Wow I love it, thank you" I say as we shook hands, and all of us go in the back, and our managers come in and give us the run down of the night. I was yawning by the end of it. 

"Oh my it's going to be a long night" I say in a low voice. "Yeah no kidding, but will you be alright?" my love asks as he looks concern for me. "I think so" I say sounding unsure, but he is feeling for me too. 

"Alright, Pete, Patrick, and the siblings to go in to shoot the interview first." one of the tv staff members comes and tell us. Ok I'm panicking now, but it's just interviews so I just or try to calm down, but he kisses me and that helped.

"I love you baby" I say as he touches my face, "I love you first" he says we smile and off he goes. Meanwhile Joe and Andy always perk up my spirits. They are like my brothers, it's fantastic. After playing video games for six hours, they finally come back. In each other's arms we go. I kiss him all over his face as we get ready for the show.
