The next day at lunch, you sit grouped together with the whole class, squished together between two tables. Earlier in class, Aizawa revealed that class 1A would be going on a 'sort of field trip' next week. He warned you not to get too excited, but that didn't stop the class from completely loosing it over the field trip anyways. You sit at these two tables now, to discuss a weekend shopping trip to buy things for the field trip next week and also to speculate what the mystery field trip might be.

Since Bakugo cornered you in the classroom, you refuse to look at him or even speak to him. Not that he has ever tried to do the latter. That hasn't stopped him from glaring at you even worse though. Uraraka said it was so much worse, he looked at you like you murdered his puppy or something.

Lunch time is no different. You went out of your way to make sure you're sitting at the table he is not at, but still, Bakugo glares.

Iida speaks up to stop everyone from speaking over each other, "Attention everyone, instead of picking just one store, I suggest we meet at the mall. That way we can put an end to all this pointless bickering. A UA student should behave like a hero would at all times!"

"I think Iida is right," Momo speaks up. "The mall would be a logical place to go where everyone can find what they need."

"And, there will be lots of hawt girls," Mineta drools, gazing off into the distance at some weird fantasy only he can see.

"Shut up, you perv," Mina looks disgusted by him.
"Anyways, I want to buy a cute new top to wear on the trip!"

"Mina," Kirishima says, "You know you'll have to wear your uniform since it's a school trip, right?"

"Aww, man!" Mina wails and Uraraka pats her back.

"Don't worry," Uraraka says comfortingly, "You can just wear it out some other time."

"Yeah," Denki comments jubilantly, "We can plan a field trip after the field trip!"

"Uhh, guys?" you intone. "Remember what Mr. Aizawa said about not getting too excited for this field trip?"

"Booo Y/N, don't be a party pooper!" Mina complains.

You shrug and open your lunch, "Don't say I didn't warn you." You sit back and watch the chaos unfold as Mina leads an argument against Denki and Sero about what the field trip will be. Mina is convinced that it will be a trip to one of the top hero agencies to be introduced to all the best pro heroes.

Denki and Sero think it will be to some top secret location where they house the most dangerous villains.

"But why would they bring kids to some place where there are dangerous villains?" Tsu questions rationally.

"The frog girl is right." Iida waves his hand mechanically, "Aizawa would not take us to a place we're villains are present."

"Then where do you think we're going?" Sero asks him. "You never picked a side."

"That is because I do not stoop to such levels as squabbling with my fellow classmates."

Denki rolls his eyes, "That's just because you can't come up with anything better than we did for the field trip."

"Okay, you guys," Uraraka chimes in, "But back to the real topic at hand: What time do we meet up?"

"I think we should go in the morning," Midoriya says, "When the mall won't be so crowded."

"I like this idea." Todoroki deadpans, "Then we can stop and get some soba for lunch."

"Okay..." Uraraka gives Todoroki a strange look, "So how about we leave at 10am. Any objections?"

"Not from me," Kirishima pipes up. "I think this will be really fun. Don't you think so, Bakubro?"

Bakugo pauses glaring at me, to glare at Kirishima and just grunts.

"Aww come onnnn, you'll have fun once you're there."

"Tch. Like hell," Bakugo gripes roughly.

The conversation picks up again until lunch is over and then the conversation continues again later at night in the dorm over dinner. It's settled that tomorrow morning on Saturday, you will leave the dorm at 10am and ride to the mall via the train station. Not everyone is thrilled about being up so early on a Saturday morning- *cough* Mina- but you manage to leave at the intended time and make it to the train station shortly after. After a twenty minute train ride, you get to the mall. Since the mall complex is so big, it has its own train stop where you can get off.

The mall is huge. And you mean... HUGE! Deku says we are early and it's not that crowded yet, but people are swarming everywhere! You've never been to this mall before, so when we get to the malls main entrance, you pause to study the large map to find the stores you are looking for. Todoroki stands beside you, also gazing at the map intently.

"Is it your first time here too?"

"No," Todoroki responds. "I am trying to locate where they moved the soba noodle shop. It should be right here in the entrance, but I don't see it anymore."

"Ah, okay. Well, good luck with that." You back away from Todoroki, unsure of what else to say. But... then it's Bakugo you bump into.

"Excuse m-" you start to say, spinning around to apologize, but then stop when you see who it is. You bumped into his back and Bakugo turns around to face you. "Never mind." You clamp your jaw shut and walk away. Before you go, Bakugo looks like he's about to speak, but then clenches his jaw menacingly and balls his hands into fists at his sides.

You hurry back over to where the main group of your class is, Iida standing in the center trying to get everyone's attention. "Okay classmates. Pair up and do your shopping, and we will meet back here at this sign at noon to go get lunch."

Everyone agrees and they all group off and part ways. Denki, Kirishima, Jiro, Sero, and unfortunately Bakugo- who is just being dragged along by Kirishima- end up needing to go to the same store as you, so you go with them. The conversation is light and good and when you finish getting what you need from the store, you tell them you'll be right back and that you need something from the store across from it real quick. The others are still busy shopping, so they don't mind and tell you they'll wait for you to come back.

You walk across the open area into a store filled with snacks. You take your time browsing the shelves and end up picking a few new snacks to try during the field trip.

You hear a bag rustle on the shelf a few feet down from you and you glance over to find Bakugo standing there with a hand in his pocket, prodding a bag of chips with the other. You glance at him, then look away, carrying on with your perusal of the store.
You grab a bag of chips you think Uraraka will like and head to the check out counter.
