BLAST YOU TO HELL

Around you, in the distance in the gym, other paired off students have already started their mock battles. The middle of the gym floor is a regular wood floor, but the outskirts of the gym floor transition into different terrains.

Bakugo hits you with a tremendous volley of explosions and you call up a large barrier on your left arm like a shield to block the majority of the explosions. When the explosions die down, you use the smoke cover to high tail it into the forest terrain.
You dive into the first layer of fake trees before Bakugo can see you through the fading smoke.
Your heart beats fast when you hear Bakugo angrily hunting you.

"Damn, Y/N! Where did you go?" He strides through the last of the smoke and into the first layer of trees.

You hold your ground and once Bakugo walks past you, you form two small barriers in your hand and throw them at him. The first purple sphere hits him in the pelvis and he goes staggering backward a few steps. He sees the second one soaring at his head and has time to dodge it.

"There you are!" Bakugo shouts triumphantly and uses his quirk to rocket himself toward you. You dodge his head on strike, but Bakugo pivots unexpectedly in the air and throws a punch into your blindspot. You're knocked on your back and are barely able to throw up a shield encasing your right arm before he lands on top of your oversized sphere. You make the barrier disappear simultaneously as you roll to the side and get into a crouch. Bakugo falls when the barrier disappears and lands where you were just laying.

You encase your fists in two barriers, like boxing gloves and move in for some close combat. While Bakugo is off his game, you hurry over to him and get in a few rapid strikes.  He grunts as you make contact with several weak spots on his chest and abdomen. Bakugo reaches his arms back to propel himself into the air back into a standing position.
The blasts from his hands turn to your direction as he engages you in an exchange of blows.

Bakugo gets a direct hit to your shoulder and your skin suffers a burn. You grit your teeth and pull up a large barrier in one arm to block his attack, while you create a bowling ball sized orb in the other and hurtle it right into his chest. Your throw was at point blank range, but the overwhelming weight of the orb knocks Bakugo to the side before he can recover.

He grunts and comes at you again. This time, you have a new plan and you feign an opening, letting Bakugo take the hit as he punches the spot on your shoulder again. With your free arm, you grab his black tunic and tug him closer to you. Once he is in your range, you take Bakugo's hand in both of yours and trap his entire hand in a translucent barrier.

"What the hell?" Bakugo looks down at his hand, suddenly finding it extremely difficult to lift. He forms a big explosion in his hand, but it stays contained within the barrier. "WHAT THE HELL?!"

Bakugo shakes his trapped fist frustratedly. His furious gaze locks on your determined one and you lunge forward, pelting him with a few marble sized barriers. They ping against random points of contact on his body and it momentarily distracts him enough for your to get in close again. Bakugo lands a kick to your leg and you wince, but you don't let up on your concentration. Right now, you have a one track mind and you lunge for his free hand as he throws it out in front of him and erupts his hand in a big explosion. You don't have enough time to create a barrier, so you are thrown backwards.

You cough in the smoke, sitting up against the tree you crashed into, "That was a full power blast!"

"That's not even half my power. My full power would blast you to hell! Now get this shit off my hand!" Bakugo barely manages to hold up his barrier encased hand.

"So you can 'blast me to hell'? I don't think so!"
You pull yourself to your feet as Bakugo approaches you. Standing once again, you conjure a large barrier around one arm like a shield and send a barrage of mini barriers pelting at Bakugo, but to your dismay, he uses the barrier trapping his hand to block some of your projectiles. You let him come to you as he closes the distance between you and brace for impact. Instead of targeting Bakugo's upper body like you have been up until now, you change it up and go after his feet. You side step his assault and sweep him off balance with a well placed kick to his lower leg. Using his momentum against him, you manage to grab his only free hand left and encase in another barrier.

Bakugo curses now that both of his hands are trapped and swings out with a barrier clad fist. The impact hits your shield like barrier and they negate each other, so it ends up like hitting air. You wince as you continue to move your burned shoulder and work through the pain.

"Now, let's see how you fight without depending on your quirk!" you get out before launching yourself at him again. The two advantages you have, are that Bakugo can't use his quirk and the heavy barriers trapping both of his hands are massively weighing him down.

You keep your left arm in the barrier shield, but encase your right hand in the 'boxing glove' like barrier to take on Bakugo. He strains to raise up his fists in front of him as you run toward him. Dang, he must be really strong to do that.

Bakugo summons violent explosions inside his hands to try and break the barriers. But, he can't break free. Instead, Bakugo is forced to fight you boxing style like any good old street fight. Your barriers clash together with his and you exchange a rapid succession of blows.

You are impressed with how well Bakugo manages to move despite the barriers. This isn't getting you anywhere, so as soon as there is a secondary reprieve before the next volley of punches, you drop all your barriers and dive into his waist. Bakugo does not appear to be expecting this and is plowed backwards into the dirt.

Bakugo tries to punch up at you with one of his barrier clad hands, but the strain it is causing him to raise it is apparent, so you lean out of the way and squeeze your legs around his waist to anchor your center of balance. His punch goes wonky and you grab at both of his wrists, pinning them to the ground on either side of his head. The pain in your shoulder protests as you do this, but your throw all of your strength into it anyway.

The combined weight of the barrier on each fist and the extra pressure of your hands pinning him down, Bakugo is finally stuck. He grimaces, straining to throw off your arms from pinning his, but he can't move his arms.

"There," you pant through ragged breaths, "Game over. I win." Bakugo stares up at you with a menacing glint in his eyes that you don't like.

Without any warning, Bakugo throws is head up like he's going to head but you, then shifts his strength at the last moment to his legs and he twists up his ankle to lock around yours and uses the momentum to flip you over. The breath gets knocked out of you as you are knocked to the ground.

You huff in defeat at your switched positions and Bakugo now using your barriers as leverage to pin your hands down on either side of your head.

Bakugo is careful not to let the barriers touch your skin or they would become weightless to you. No, he only allows them to touch his skin and uses the weights pulling down his arms to keep you there.
This requires him though, to lean forward and bring his face closer to yours. The fight hasn't burned out of you yet, so you decide to use the same trick against Bakugo. You go in for a head but while simultaneously bucking your hips to allow your leg to come up and latch around his so you can throw him off you. But... he clearly anticipates this.

Bakugo smirks down at you and rumbles, "I don't think so." Bakugo counters your moves and manages to easily keep you pinned.

"You know, I could still win if I just create a full body barrier to throw you off, so you're technically still losing right now."

"Yeah, right. If we started this fight with full power without limitations, now that I know your quirk I would just hit you full blast before you even had the chance to throw up one of your stupid barriers."

You scoff, "I could still win right now if I wanted to. The move that would bring me to victory though is just really gross. I could still pelt you with mini barriers I create from my mouth." To prove your point, you form your lips into an 'O' to create a marble sized barrier and you suck it back between your lips to get a better grip on it before aiming to spit and launching the marble at his chest. The tiny ball causes him to grimace in pain and take the hit as to not compromise his position and give you the leverage you need to escape.

Bakugo exhales sharply through his nose and gazes down with challenge at you. "Do that again, and I'll do what I have to do to stop you."
