Difficult Project Partners and Flying Rock Birds!

Morning classes are cut short that day and lunch time is moved up early. You were so tired last night that you were too lazy to pack a box lunch this morning so you opt for the lunch line today.

Grabbing your tray of food, you head back to where Uraraka, Deku, Momo, and Todoroki are siting. You slide in on the end seat next to Uraraka and continue the conversation you were having on the way to the cafeteria.

"I wouldn't call it progress really, but at least he seems willing to finish the project with me now."

"Hmm," Uraraka taps her chin, "I wonder what changed his mind. From what you said earlier, Bakugo throwing your work on the ground doesn't sound like it would be a very good sign."

Deku sighs, "I'm sorry you have to put up with Kacchan. He can be really unreasonable sometimes."

"But hey, at least the project will be done and out of the way by the end of today," Momo points out practically.

You smile and raise your water bottle, "Here's to difficult project partners and silver linings!"

"Here, here!" Everyone laughs and clinks water bottles and juice cartons together in a improvised cheer.

Mina suddenly slides over from the other side of the table and lightly bumps into Todoroki. At the other side of the table Mina sits with Denki, Kirishima, Jiro, Sero, and Bakugo- who sits on the far end. They all watch Mina with amusement as she crashes our little toast.

"What's going on over here?" Mina asks curiously.

Todoroki lightly pushes Mina out of his personal space before responding, "We just made a toast to difficult project partners and golden linings."

"It's silver linings, not golden," Momo corrects.

"Oh cool!" Denki calls, listening in on the conversation and skootching down the bench closer to our group, holding his water bottle up in one hand. "Okay, here it goes. How about... to doing well on the training exercise and coming back alive."

Everyone smiles and raises their water bottles in another "cheers!".

"What the hell are you idiots doing?" Bakugo calls out to us over the table.

"Come on Kacchan. Why don't you make a toast next? It's kind of fun," Deku invites.

"You damn nerd, that's so lame." Bakugo gets up from the table and dumps his tray on the rack next to the garbage and stomps away.

A second later, the bell signaling the end of lunch rings and you leave the cafeteria with everyone else.

"Looks like it's time to get changed and head out to the gym," Uraraka states.

Everyone changes into there gym clothes and gathers in the main gym. The teachers are already there waiting for us on a raised platform and Aizawa steps forward to explain the rules for the basic training exercise.

Basically, we will have three hours to collect all five flags that have our names on them and return to the starting point before time runs out. This training exercise will take place in an area next to the school that is tree miles of fenced in forest. There will be rock monsters and tree creatures to battle as we go and Present Mic will be wandering the arena randomly as the main villain.

"So, if you cross paths with Present Mic," Aizawa continues, "You can either avoid him or fight him if you feel confident enough to take him on."

"EYYY!" Present Mic blares through his speakers, "I told you before to call me Evil Mic today! Because for this exercise, I ain't your teacher."
