Bakugo x Y/N (reader)

New Classmates!

You open the tall wooden door to class 1A and step inside. A bunch of curious and friendly faces appraise you as you enter the classroom and close the door behind you.

"Hi!" A girl with dark hair pulled up in a high-ponytail and long side bangs that hang to one side of her face greets you. You have to look up at her since she is slightly taller than you. "My name is Momo and I'm really looking forward to meet you!"

You smile at her and are instantly put at ease from the encounter with the rude boy in the hallway. Everyone looks to be so nice here! "Hi, Momo!" you respond enthusiastically, "Thank you so much for the warm greeting. I'm really glad to be here."

"Oh, yeah! No problem," Momo smiles happily. "Actually, all of us girls were really excited to finally have another girl in this class. There are way too many boys."

"Momo!" A girl with pink hair, pink skin, and horns, hugs Momo's arm and complains good naturedly, "Don't hog the new girl all to yourself. We want to meet her too!"

Your eyes widen in surprise at all of the girls from class 1A that have suddenly surrounded you. They are all smiles and cheerful excitement and you notice that even some of the boy have approached the outskirts of the jumble of girls to say hi.

The pink girl turns to you and her bubbly energy is infectious. She practically bounces as she grabs your hand and shakes it up and down as she introduces herself. "I'm Mina Ashito! Nice to meet you!"

You can't help but smile back at the pink girl, who you now know is Mina. "Hi! My name is Y/N and I just transferred to UA from another school."

"Let me in!" A tiny girl with short brown hair that is slightly longer in front, pushes her way through the crowd and squeezes her way in between Mina and Momo. "I want to meet the new girl too!" Her warm brown eyes meet yours and you instantly know you will like her, "I'm Occhaco Uraraka and I am so excited to meet you!" This short girl is so positive and very cute. She instantly reminds you of one of your only friends from your old school and it makes you feel slightly nostalgic missing your old friend.

"It's really nice to meet you too," you say to Uraraka.

A few other people greet you, but you can't remember all of their names. You only remember Denki because you noted his interesting yellow hair with a lighting bolt of black streaking down the front of it, Kirishima- the guy with the sharp teeth and spiky red hair because he was super friendly, and the very nice boy with the green hair named Izuku- who also said you could call him by his nickname Deku since everyone kind of calls him that.

After the swift flurry of introductions, you are a little overwhelmed and are glad when just the original three girls- Mina, Momo, and Uraraka- stay to chat with you.

Uraraka notices your flustered state and smiles at you sympathetically, "Sorry, that was a lot to take in all at once." She claps her hands together, "Don't worry if you don't remember everyone right away! It takes time to learn all those names."

You sigh in relief, "Thanks, yeah. That was a little overwhelming. But I'm glad everyone is so nice and friendly." You toy with the shoulder straps of your backpack as you speak, "I'll admit I was nervous about making friends at a new school, especially since I'm transferring here halfway through the year."

"Oh, don't worry about that!" Mina waves a pink hand at me, "We're all super close here."

"Yeah," Momo agrees. "We are all very good friends." Your heart feels lighter and at ease now looking at these three wonderful girls standing around you and at all the other friendly students in your new class who greeted you. ...Maybe this new school won't be so bad!
