My body is met with chills from the wind blowing in through the carriage door. The man with auburn hair stands by the carriage door, holding it open for us. An extremely tall, slim woman stands beside him, her height reaching past Eren's. Her short blonde bob shakes in the windy night, her bangs bluntly cut over her big, dark eyes.
Yelena.
"Welcome," she says to us.
Eren scoops me up into his arms, ignoring my deathly stares. He steps out of the carriage and in front of a tall building. Inside, we are blessed by warmth. A table rests in the corridor where Yelena sits down. She holds a very lazy expression, her eyelids hanging deep over her eyes.
"We weren't expecting you to break out so soon." She tells Eren. She rests her elbows on the table, her long arms pushing her shoulders up towards her face. "I thought you might have wanted to find Zeke first. I guess you couldn't wait any longer." She looks at me.
"Zeke is next," he answers.
I study him uneasily as he walks down one of the halls on the top floor. Every footstep causes me to grow more and more tense. My heart beats at an unimaginable rate, causing my chest to burn viciously.
As we near the end of the hall, a door appears before us. My breath quickens at the sight of it. Inside is a bedroom. Seeing it causes a heavy load of unbearable thoughts to cloud my mind. I begin to tremble from fear, causing his grip on me to tighten.
Eren immediately puts me down on a chair by the desk as I begin to squirm. I nearly fall over as my bound feet hit the ground. He exhales softly, his deeply furrowed eyebrows relaxing slightly as he stares at me.
"I'm not going to hurt you." He tells me, his soft tone making me even more uncomfortable.
"Don't play nice," I fire back. "You're not fooling me! I know what you want!"
His brows begin to knit together again, bending upwards which causes a slight look of sadness to fall onto his hardened face. Without a word, he walks up to me. My entire body tenses up from his close proximity. My skin burns viciously as my bound hands and feet fight the restraints.
But instead, he just cuts them. "I just want to talk." He sits down at the other chair by the desk. "All you need to do is listen. And after I'm done, if you still want nothing to do with me, then you can leave."
I frown in utter bewilderment at this strange sense of kindness he's showing me. He sits in a relaxed position, suggesting he's not having any hostile thoughts towards me. Despite his hardened face, his eyes are filled with sorrow.
He reaches for a small bag that rests on the table. Inside, he reveals a black book with celestine crystals decorating the cover. My heart nearly stops as I read the title. "I have the answers to all of your questions." He holds the Book of the Celestite out before me, placing it on his lap so I can clearly see it. He then begins to explain himself.
"
Eldians were the ones who took this book from your people. During the Great Titan War, Marley somehow was able to steal the book before the walls were created. It took them decades, but with the book, they was able to obtain Lumoise Stone in which they used to create the Sealing Amulet around your neck. Nine years ago, they casted a spell that ripped you from the Celestial World. And as you know, they wanted you to grant one of their Warriors the Mark of the Celestite. After doing that, they would gain access to the Celestial World and repeat history. Our ancestors bred your kind. That's what makes you half human today. The thing is, it only takes one Celestial to conquer the whole world. So with the entire nation at their command, they would basically become gods.
