The Year Away

Sam:

Everyone had gotten into the hottub, after Ky and I had been examined for injuries. I had a bandage on my cheek now. "So... What's been happening throughout the year?" Alexia asked, having appeared after Hanna left. "Well, we have added to the list of "things thrown on stage during a concert", including carrots, a little toy car, and candy...." Liam smiled slightly. "...We had several interviews with several interesting interviewers..." Louis added. "...And lots of other stuff!! What about you?" Zayn asked. Tori and I exchanged glances. "Stuff." I stated bluntly. Ky gave me the,'No shoot' look. "Sam had several cases, and dyed her hair brown." Tori specified. "Horrible look for me." I said quietly. "You actually looked pretty good." Brielle commented. "And we got a dog, and a cat, and a turtle, and some fish." Alexia added. "I didn't see the dog...." Harry frowned. "Or the cat, or any of them!" Louis said, looking confused. "The fish died, the turtle is in my room, and the cat and dog are at the vets, getting shots!" I exclaimed. "My turtle's name is Tony!" I added, giggling. "O.....K....." Tori laughed at Harry's comment. "Because he wears a "suit of armour" over his body." Tori explained. "And the cat's Selena, and Lilo's our dog!" Alexia named, my excited-ness catching on. "And they come back.... Now!" I yelled as I heard the doorbell ring. I vaulted out of the pool and ran to get it.

Ky:

I heard Sam open the door and start talking to someone. After a minute or two, there was a huge splash as a massive Golden Retriever bounded into the pool. "Hi Lilo! Hi baby!" Sam cooed as she too dived into the pool. "Did you miss Mommy? Did you?" Sam giggled as Lilo licked her almost violently. "Good girl! Now Lilo, these people are nice, so don't bite them! See, that's Harry, that's Louis, that's Ky, that's Liam, that's Zayn, and that's Niall!" Sam introduced as she came to the edge of the pool with Lilo, as close to the hot tub as she could be. "Is she safe?" I asked,looking at Lilo's size. "Yup! She knows you now, so you'll be ok. We just gotta make sure she doesn't tank the tots." Sam half-reassured.

"She actually bit a robber in the-" Sam stated before Tori quickly splashed her. "...Oh." I said slowly, understanding. Sam splashed Tori back, splashing everyone else too. There was silence, then everyone jumped in pool and started World War Splash. I laughed as I got drenched. This was right. This was home. This was family.
