You've just walked out the doors of your private catholic school when your cellphone rings. You look down at the caller ID which reads, "Niall Horan". You answer your phone and say,
"Niall! Heyy!"
A sweet and perky Irishman laughs into the phone and responds with,
"Hey (Y/N)!! How are you??"
"I'm great! How are you??"
"I'm in a bit of a pickle, actually. I really need yer help.."
"Oh okay! What's up, Niall??"
There's a bit of a pause, but you can hear him nervously fidgiting in his seat on the other end. He was obviously nervous or embarassed by what he was about to say.
"Just say it, Niall. I won't bite. I promise!" You say, hoping to calm his nerves a little.
Niall nervously chuckles and finally says,
"Ye see, (Y/N), we're doing this 'couples' interview on the radio in an hour and obviously I'm the only one without a girlfriend. So would you mind coming with me as my best friend?"
"Aww I'd love to, Niall!! That sounds so fun!!"
"Great!!! Where are you? I'll send a cab for you and have it take you to the studio!"
You tell Niall your school's address and ten minutes later a cab arrived for you.
The taxi driver drops you off and the very first person you saw was the boys' bodyguard, Paul.
"Are you (Y/N)??" He asked you in a very warm, yet strict tone.
"Y-Yes sir." you say. You hate how you stutter when you're nervous.
"Right this way, dear." He said as he guided you to the backroom. As he opened the door you could hear all the boys and their girlfriends talking, laughing, and goofing off.
"(Y/N)'s here!" Paul called out.
You follow Paul into the room and you immediately spotted Niall. He has always been really handsome, but now he's so attractive you're slightly intimidated.
"(Y/N)..! You've changed so much!! I hardly recognized you!" Niall said as he greeted you with a very warm and loving hug.
He introduced you to each individual band member, along with his girlfriend. They were all a lot nicer and friendlier than you were expecting. No one had an ego or their nose stuck in the air.
As you were talking to Eleanor you could eyes on you. You didn't understand why until you realized you were still in your school uniform. Something about cathoic school uniforms seems to drive guys crazy for some reason. Nevertheless, you kept talking to Eleanor and just brushed it off.
About twenty minutes later the interviewer came busting in the door, obviously out of breath.
"Sorry I'm late guys!" He huffed, trying to catch his breath.
"There was a massive wreck down the road and traffic was held up for miles."
The boys told him it was no big deal and they were ready when he was.
He leads you all to a room down the hall with a circular-ish table with a few microphones and chairs.
"Now guys, I do have a very limited number of microphones and seats so would it be alright if you, girls, sit in their laps?"
You all say it's fine, but Niall leans in close to your ear and says,
"Ye don't have to sit in me lap, (Y/N). We can get ye another seat."
