You had been dating Niall for over a year when he finally convinced you to come along on 1D's TMH tour.
When you all met up backstage the morning before the first concert of their tour, Niall eagerly led you to 5SOS's dressing room.
He opened the door and all four members eyes were drawn to you.
"(Y/N), this is Michael, Calum, Ashton, and Luke!"
They all waved and gave you a friendly hello.
"Niall talks about you guys a lot and how good you are."
They all chuckled as they carried on the conversation. They all seemed so sweet and friendly that you subconsciously let your walls down around them.
One day, you were roaming around backstage looking for Niall when you decided to check 5sos' room. You opened the door to see Luke, alone, sitting on the couch strumming his guitar.
"Sorry, I'm just looking for Niall." You said when Luke looked over his shoulder at you.
He turned back around to go back to playing with his guitar as he said,
"He's in a meeting with his bandmates and their management. You can hangout here if you want."
You shrugged your shoulders and decided to stay as you closed the door behind you.
You sat down next to him and watched his fingers pluck at the guitar strings.
"Where are your bandmates?"
"Sleeping on the tour bus. They stayed up all night playing FIFA." Luke answered, diverting his attention away from his guitar to look at you and smile.
You smiled back as you sat there in silence for a moment before saying,
"You know, I've never really heard you sing. I've heard you on stage and stuff, but that's not quite the same.."
Luke smirked and said,
"I can sing something for you now, if you want?"
"Sure! I'd love that!" You said with a big smile as you scooted closer to Luke.
"What do you want to hear?" He asked.
"Surprise me." You said eagerly as you smiled.
Luke thought for a minute before he started strumming the familiar tune of Drop in the Ocean on his guitar. Then he began to sing,
"It's just a drop in the ocean. A change in the weather. I was praying that you and me might end up together. It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert. But I'm holding you closer than most cause you are my heaven. You are my heaven."
You have no idea what came over you, but all of these feelings for Luke hit you like a train. You were having to fight back the urge to kiss him so bad that after you told him how good he was, you kissed him on the cheek instead and told him you were going to go hangout with Lou.
That night, you were hanging out with Luke in his band's tour bus while all of the other boys were sleeping in their bunks.
"So, (Y/N), how's your relationship with Niall been?" Luke asked you.
"It's been good. It's just.. Lately he hasn't been giving me much attention. I know he's just busy with the tour and everything, but still. I can't help but feel a little ignored, you know? Like I've been put on the back burner."
Luke nodded as he said,
"You know (Y/N), you deserve someone who will give you his full attention and knows how to...properly take care of you."
