You and Luke have never been able to get along, but you put up with each other because you hangout with the same people.
No one made you angrier than he did and you could have sworn he did most of it on purpose. The other guys were good at distracting you both so they usually knew what to do when you fought.
However, one day at school you were both sitting in your Economics class when your teacher started assigning partners for a project.
Your teacher called your name first and as he pointed, he said,
"(Y/N), you're with Luke over there."
You looked over to your right and saw the last person you wanted to be paired with looking at you with a stupid grin on his face.
Luke barely talked in school so no one understood your frustration as you rolled your eyes and faced the front. In between classes, Luke came up to you and said,
"Look, I'm not any happier about being partners than you are, but we need to pick whose house we go to after school."
You took a deep breath and said,
"Well we can't go to mine because we had to change the locks and I don't have a key."
Luke shrugged his shoulders and said,
"Fine. We'll just go to my house."
After school, you followed Luke home and went inside. You sat at his kitchen table with him for three hours as you both argued and argued over your budget and how to spend the money. Finally, Luke said,
"Okay, look, this project's not due for another two days. Let's just call it a day and pick up here tomorrow."
You shrugged your shoulders and gave him a bitchy,
"Fine."
You packed up your things as he started boiling some water on the stove and pulled some ingredients out of the kitchen cabinets.
You watched him in confusion and said,
"What are you doing?"
"Starting dinner.."
"I didn't know you could cook"
"There's a lot you don't know about me"
"Yeah? Like what?"
Luke glared at you as he mixed his ingredients together in the pot and said,
"Why should I tell you? You're just going to insult me."
"No, I'm not."
"Prove it. Tell me something I don't know about you."
You stood next to him as you watched him stir the pot and hesitated before you said,
"I'm really afraid of the dark."
Luke smirked as he looked up at you and said,
"Really?"
You laughed as you nodded and said,
"I sleep with two nightlights in my room"
Luke couldn't help but laugh and you said,
"Don't judge me"
He looked back at his pot as he said,
"Oh I'm judging you."
You nudged him as you said,
"Your turn."
Luke smiled and said,
