As you sat in your health class with your best friends Michael, Calum, Luke, and Ashton, your attention was quickly brought to the teacher in the front of the room.
"Today class, we're going to start our teen parent projects. All of you will get a baby doll that cries, sleeps, drink, eats, and poops along with a baby blanket the color of your baby's gender, a bottle, baby food, formula, diapers, and a couple different pairs of clothes. You will be responsible for caring for him or her as you would a real baby. I've already matched you all with a partner so when I call your's and your partner's names please come up and take your baby and supplies."
She read down the list of people until she finally called out your name.
"(Y/N) and Ashton!"
You took the baby while Ashton took the supplies.
The teacher read a few more names then she looked up and said,
"Calum...Michael... I'm really sorry, but since there are no more girls in the classroom I went ahead and paired you two together."
Everyone kind of smirked and turned to look at them.
Calum looked over at Michael and said,
"I love you."
Michael got an annoyed grin on his face as he slowly looked over at Calum and shook his head, making Calum laugh.
The two claimed their pretend son and went back to their seats.
After school, you and Ashton went to his house to hangout and go over who would take care of the baby when.
While you and Ashton were at his house he kept noticing that something was wrong.
"(Y/N), are you alright? You look sad.." He asked worriedly.
"Yeah..I'm fine, I guess.." You replied half heartedly.
"Want to talk about it?" Ashton asked sympathetically.
You decided to just spill your heart out to him about how ever since your ex boyfriend dumped you a couple months ago you just felt really lonely and empty.
"Hey, maybe this project is just what you need! You have someone to take care of and needs you..!"
You couldn't but smile at Ashton's adorable enthusiasm and nodd your head.
Ashton could tell you weren't totally convinced so he kissed you on the cheek and gave you a hug as he said,
"Don't worry, love. Everything will be alright.... Hey! How about tonight we put the baby to bed early and go do something??"
You excitedly agree and it isn't but an hour later that you two are out the door.
