Story time:Drawer of hearts

I approach you with the intention of stealing your heart .

Cloaked in the robe of invisibility - that would be  my true intentions.

How I can steal your heart and leave you devastated is beyond your comprehension.

Let me start from the beginning so you can fully understand.

Capturing you heart by imprisoning your mind was my one and only plan.

You couldn't see past the facade of prince charming.

You allowed me access to your soul rather quickly - it was truly  alarming.

I seduced you with my kind eyes and my insincere smile.

My big curtain reveal at the end will have you in denial.

How could I be so savage? How could I deceive you with love when I planned to leave you ravaged ?

Don't be ashamed that you fell for my scheme , I collect hearts and yours had to be added to my pile by any means.

I was attentive, caring, compassionate, and endearing.

I reflected none of the qualities of the past ones that you were fearing.

Day by day I watched in excitement as your guards began to drop, the anticipation of the big reveal of your heart running through my mind non stop.

You should be honored , because the day that the last brick of your wall was laid to rest, was the closest I've ever been to feeling something beat inside of my chest.

Finally! It was love,  you professed.

I touched your face, I caressed.

In that moment I was possessed.

My excitement almost too great to repress.

I looked you in the eyes and said" There's something I must confess".

You gazed upon me in awe as you waited for what I would say. I inched near your ear and whispered " Today is harvest day".

Your look changed to confusion.

For me it was rather amusing.

I took you into my embrace and punctured your rib cage through your back, taking your heart in my hand and placing it in a glass.

The rhythm of you beats were quite frantic.

It was somewhat romantic.

I placed the glass in a drawer, where it lied with plenty more.

Time for my next victim to see what I have in store.
