She sat on guard from within the open tree stump, feeling under stress as the two boys both lingered with unconsciousness. Sasuke's was more of an in and out consciousness where he would mumble out something incoherently before finding himself falling asleep again. Naruto, on the other hand, was cold out. She wasn't sure what the man did to Naruto in particular, but it truly had him out.

[Name] felt that she let her guard down throughout the whole ordeal that left her alone now. Gulping in response to the thought, she tried mustering up enough courage to be brave enough for the two boys while they were under her watch. She still found herself shaken up from the past encounter and overall the feeling of being within the Chunin's exam. It admittedly took a toll on her emotionally, brought out that side of her where she feared a loss of someone at any given moment — and this forest, it was a breaking point for that. But she knew in the end, she was strong and had to use that prowess to protect the ones she cared for.

The sound of a branch cracking brought the girl out of her thoughts quickly, causing her to activate her newly reawakened ByakuSharingan. The only setback she found was having little control over using one at a time, and was forced into the usage of both — which doubled on her chakra and created for her to be exhausted more easily. And with the situation she found herself in, she couldn't keep it on 24/7.

Despite feeling it was a rather paranoid in the moment feeling, she activated it still and skimmed around the area for a bit. She did notice a few things, nothing that stood out as an obvious chakra signature but rather something that reminded her of a sound wave clouded her vision in a sense. A large one at that. She rose an eyebrow in suspicion but tried to dismiss it at the moment.

Sighing, she looked back at the two boys for a moment to tend to them, her eyes still activated as she examined their chakra flows. She supposed being more Taijutsu-based was her downfall, disallowing her from being able to have the abilities of healing and such. [Name] abruptly flinched upon looking over at Sasuke's chakra flow intensely, noticing a darker color within his chakra than usual, whilst turning over to Naruto's she could tell it was a disturbance within the flow.

After a few more moments, she heard another ruffling of noise, examining it again, but she wasn't able to turn before she felt a hand grip onto her neck and lift her from the ground. A cold kunai came in contact with her neck, and the grip of the enemy's hand on her face grew tighter. "Hand over the Uchiha and this can be over." the voice spoke to her menacingly, the girl stifled out a breath, closing her eyes for a moment before reopening them. "No." she simply said, the enemy, Dosu rose an eyebrow in suspicion as he ranged the Kunai closer to her neck, making a point by drawing a small amount of blood from her.
