[Name] sat on the top balcony, watching as the fights went on. Sasuke was first on the list and despite the constant panic she thought would ensue with his, he was able to hold his all and win against Yoroi. Shockingly, Sakura was next and went up, despite being the only one on her team to compete she still gave it a chance against Ino. Despite all the Haruno had faced in the last segment, she held up well against the Yamanaka. The fight ended up in a draw.
After the two girls fight, they found their way up to [Name] choosing to sit next to her for the next fight. It continued with Shikamaru and the girl that attacked [Name] earlier on, Kin. [Name] felt gracious when Shikamaru defeated the girl, she stood up from the balcony and cheered loudly for the Nara louder than most unexpectedly. Ino eyed over to the black-eyed Sakura who then eyed over to [Name] upon the cheers. They both smirked as Shikamaru found himself looking up at the girl who cheered for him loudly. He let out a sigh as he could feel a smile creeping up onto his face.
"[Name].." he mumbled out from below before suddenly he remembered in his mind what he could do at this moment. He patted for his ninja pouch, feeling the years-old card he had kept in there. Before the proctor could announce his win, he excused himself before running towards the stairs of the second balcony. 'This is it!' he thought to himself, feeling himself running out of breath from all of his energy being used up from the fight to the gruesome stairs. [Name] looked onwards with a raised eyebrow to the boy who ran towards her. "Shika-"
"Here." he reached for his pouch, taking the card out of it finally. This was it, the moment he could finally give it to her in peace. Well somewhat peaceful, since Ino squealed quietly from behind the two. "I've...been meaning to give those to you for years now..Its.., nothing special." She went to go to peel it open before the boy cut her off from doing so. "Y-You don't have to open it now though, that would be troublesome..but..I just wanted you to have it.." It caught her off-guard, as she skimmed the date on the letter and noticed it only saying '[Name] Uchiha.' she assumed it was before the downfall when it was written. "Shikamaru...?"
Awkwardly, the Nara didn't know what else to say at the moment, rather than to intently stare at her, before clearing his throat and looking in the direction of his Team leader. "Oh..I think I just heard Asuma call for me.." he excused himself, causing Ino to roll her eyes from behind the two at his rather lame excuse to get out of the awkwardness he created. "Interesting." [Name] said to herself as she turned back to the two girls, Ino trying to calm her composure as Sakura nudged at her. Before they could get into a conversation, the leaderboard began to make a noise, signaling the next match. The three watched intently as Kiba & Naruto's names popped up on the screen. And so went on more matches. Naruto won against Kiba.
