i missed writing abt sasuke. so BAD...
i had my brother ask me a few days ago, "so do you have a crush on sasuke or naruto?" and I had to laugh...bc as a 21 year old woman...ME...? having a CRUSH ON SASUKE....AHAHAHHA...(I'm in love with sasuke. actually. I'm nearing the point of getting a life size plush of him bc a chibi size ain't enough ngl)

SASUKE'S PERSPECTIVE

"[Name]. You're...alive...?"
He was guided to Konohagakure that night for the exact reasons he stared at right now, her chokehold that still grasped onto him led him the entire way here. He had sought for closure for so long, and his resolve lied within the gates of Konoha, but he wasn't expecting to find her along the way. His eyes wandered her from head to toe, his grasp on her wrist still firm, as though letting go would cause her to vanish, just as she had from his life nine months prior.
Her chest tightened at his words. "[Sasuke], I—" His free hand came up to cradle her face, his thumb brushing softly over her cheek. "You were gone. You were gone, and I thought..." His voice broke, his forehead dropping to rest against hers. "Sasuke I'm here...I'm right here.." she reassured, as his grip loosened on her wrist, and fell to her side, as she raised her right hand up to his that rested on her face.
"I've..always been here.." she confided in a mumble to him, Sasuke exhaled a shaky breath, his forehead still pressed to hers as her words sank in. "You were always here?" he murmured, his voice laced with disbelief. [Name] nodded, her fingers brushing over his trembling hand. "Sakura..., and Karin.., they saved me that day..." He had remembered the day like it was yesterday, [Name]'s defeat to Danzo, and the latter death, Team 7, all of it. His dark eyes searched her [E/C] eyes, his grip firm yet trembling with emotion. "I thought I lost you," he admitted, his voice raw and unguarded. "I thought I failed to protect you."
"You didn't fail me," she whispered fiercely. "Not then. Not now. Sasuke, you've never failed me." He pulled her into a crushing embrace, his breath shuddering against her neck as her arms wrapped tightly around him. "Careful," She huffed into his cloak, "I'm..supposed to be due any day now..." Sasuke froze at her words, his grip loosening as he leaned back just enough to search her face, and finally realized. "It's..been that long..."
And the two had embraced again, as a moment of silence was needed. Silence from the oncoming war that still waged beyond the cabin. But something ached in [Name]'s mind in that moment as she let Sasuke go, her resolve that she had tried so hard to seal and let go over the past few days. "I have to stop him..." She knew what was coming, and that the days forth wouldn't be the same if she didn't get out of the cabin. "What are you talking about...? Stop who..?" Sasuke raised an eyebrow at the sudden change in his demeanor.
