It's been three months since Niall and I started dating. The fans all claimed they called it, and my best friends are as supporting as ever. Katherine and Zayn have been dating since as well, and Anna and Liam are still going strong.

It was April, and it was finally starting to get warm in New York. Next week, One Direction start up their newest World Tour, and I'm still planned to go. Anna is joining as well, which makes me feel bad for Katherine, but her and Zayn are talking about moving in together, so I'm sure she'll be fine.

It'll be weird spending the next eight months living on both a tour bus and in numerous hotel rooms. Niall and I, obviously, will be sharing a hotel room.

We rearranged the house a bit last month. We both share a room now, so my room turned into a "music room," as we call it. My piano and his endless amounts of guitars are all located in there. We have jam sessions every now and then, just the two of us.

I've been awake for a little while now, but I haven't moved from our bed. Niall was still sound sleep, and his arm was tightly wrapped around my body. His hair was going in every direction possible. I gently ran my fingers through it, then planted a light kiss on his nose. His nose scrunched up, then his eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Good morning, beautiful." He whispers, caressing my cheek.

I smile, taking his hand with mine. "Good morning."

He presses his soft lips to mine, but only for a second, then rolls over to the other side of the bed to grab his phone. "Shit." he mumbles, reading his phone.

"What is it?" i ask, furrowing my eyebrows.

"I have a doctor appointment today about my knee."

"Something wrong with it?" I question.

He shakes his head. "No... well, sorta. I have to get my knees checked before every tour. They were really bad a couple years ago, then I got surgery, but they still need to be checked on to make sure I'm allowed to, you know, jump around and be crazy on stage." He smiled.

I smiled. "Sounds good. I'll come with."

We hopped in the car, and I drove. He plugged the destination into my GPS, and I groaned when I looked at how long the drive was.

"You didn't mention it was an hour drive." I sigh, following the route it led me on.

He shrugged while smirking, leaning back in the passengers seat. "Sorry." He says, lifting an eyebrow. I just roll my eyes as I continue to drive.

It certainly didn't feel like an hour, considering Niall is extremely fun to be with in the car. He blasts the radio and we both sing and dance and laugh together. Before we knew it, I was pulling into the driveway of the orthopedics' office. Niall shoved his hands in his pockets and sighed, staring at the building.

"You seem nervous." I pointed out.

"Just worried they'll tell me to calm down again, I guess."

I rub his arm and give him a comforting smile as we both get out of the car. He's never been to this place before, considering the last time he got his knees checked, he was living in Ireland. The lady at the reception desk instructed us where to go, so we hopped on an elevator to the third floor. I could tell Niall was really nervous, so I wrapped my arm around his waist and rested my head against his arm, since I wasn't tall enough to reach his shoulder. He proceeded to wrap his arm around me, pulling us close together.

"It's going to be okay. You'll be fine, okay?" I reassured, even though I have no idea how bad his knees are, so I technically can't predict the outcome. I've just never seen him so nervous, other than the day we first kissed. I didn't even entirely understand his nerves. So what he won't be able to jump around as much? I feel bad that I wasn't able to understand that.
