Charlie shows up

  I watch as she just walked into the house and then disappear. I wrapped my arm my stomach. I dropped to my knee. It just felt like my whole world was just ripped from me. I didn't know what to do. Be angry, upset, what. I felt like I couldn't breath, like my heart quit beating.

  I had gotten up and I made as far as my parents car and that's when I lost it. I didn't even know everyone had came back until they started screaming at me. I ended up putting my fist through my parents back window of there car. Then turned around and fell to the ground right there.

  My dad and Leo come running over to asking me what was wrong but I just couldn't get the words out. My mother pulled my father away for a moment. Then he was back looking at my hand. He kept trying to tell me we needed to clean it up and then April ran out.  "Guys I know what's wrong." Everyone stop and turns and looks at her except for me.

"She told Edward that he deserve someone better not a monster. Now she feels like she ripped her own heart out and left it here with Edward and that she can't do this anymore." I closed my eyes at the words that just said. Strange because I feel like my heart was tore out and is in there with her.

 At my request I had my parents and April stay and I started work part time. It's been 2 weeks and I can barely function. I broke my hand and my dad had to stitch it up. "Bella well I was told she only got up changed into her nightgown, then went back out on her deck and that's were she been since.

  I hear her cry. They tell me that's all she does is cry and signs that she a monster and she hurt me. I miss her. I won't even go into her room I can't it hurts to bad. Today I took my parent's car to work. I was just getting off a work and out at the car when my phone ring. "Yeah!" I answered as I started the car. "Son, we have a problem can you get home." My dad asked.

 "I'm on my way now, what's up?" I asked. "Just get here son please!" I don't know what it was but something in the pit of my stomach told me something was wrong. I finally pull into the driveway and notice Bella truck was gone. But Leo and Beth was here and so was the sheriff.

  I parked the car and ran into the house. What I saw was like in some movie. I had knew my mom and dad was going with Leo and Beth today and April was staying with Bella. It had looked like the house was turned upside down.

 "What happened?" I asked. My dad walked up to me. "Son were not all that sure, were trying to get all the answers now. Your mom and Beth decided to stay behind to help April today while Leo and I went into Cadillac and went ahead and did the shopping as planned."

  Then I heard an ambulance pulled up and saw the paramedics run past me. Dad put his hand on me to stop me. "Son there all right, there beat up, maybe some broken bones and I know they need stitches!" He explained. I pushed through him. "Son wait!" But I didn't. I ran down the hall to Bella room. It was destroyed. I walked and seen my mom on the floor I ran to her. "Mom!" I said. "I'm fine Edward, but Bella!" I looked around and didn't see her.

"Edward!" I heard April yell. "Go to her son." I nodded. My dad kneeled down by my mother.

  I get up and walk towards the deck. I turn and look and Beth was sitting in the bathroom crying and talking to the sheriff and Leo is beside her. I finally got to April who was sitting on the deck with a paramedic beside her. I kneeled down beside her. "It happened so fast." She said.

"What did, where Bella?" I asked her? "She ran, she got away. They were after her. I  never knew my dad could be so horrible." She told me. "He found her." I said under my breath. I went to get up but April grabbed my arm. "Edward, Todd and James were with him along with a few of Todd friends. Bella knows this area better than anyone, she got away we made sure of it. Find her Edward, get her back and don't let her go." April told me.

 I went and changed my clothes and Leo and Beth had blocked me from going anywhere. "Edward stop. Your coming with us." I nodded. "Son find her and bring her home." My dad said. "I will dad." I told him.
I jumped into Leo and Beth truck and we ended up going over to there house. Beth ran into the house and Leo told me to follow him to the garage.

 There were maps all over. "Edward here this is where Bella would of gone I know it." He tore the map off the wall. I was looking at it. "Now, no one knows this area but us and Bella. It's been years for Bella but I know if it came to it that's where she go, I bet my life on it. From what your dad tells me the state she in she going to let no one near except maybe you. Now I will mark your route and make sure you have everything you need."

 I looked at him confused. "Everything I need!" He looked at me a moment. "Umm, well you find her just don't come back right away keep her away, keep her safe. All I want you to do is send me a text you found her. Then wait until we come and find you. I will call your work. The sheriff knows so does your dad. Now all you have to do is find her."
I couldn't believe what he was just telling me. "I have to stop at my house to get some stuff before leaving. Wait Bella took her truck my car I left back home so how am I supposed to do this?" I asked.

 "Leo catch!" I heard Beth yell out and seen something being thrown to him. Then he walked to another set of doors in the back of the garage.
"This my dear Edward is how Bella learned to drive and technically it's hers but she refused it so I guess now I'm giving it to you." I walk over and he opens the door up to another midnight blue ford truck. It was a 4x4 79 ranger. Leo lift up the hood. The engine been rebuilt and tweaked only for Bella of course. Everything on it brand new. I added the wrench and off road lights to it. It has only a small lift to it so it still easier for Bella to get in and out. The tires were meant to go off road if she had to because of the forest service." He explained.

  "You know your niece as well as I do!" I told him. "Yep, now let's get this loaded." We got to work on packing the back of the truck with what I would need. They followed me back to the house. I ran into my room and pack my bag. I grabbed the first aid kit.

  After setting in the living room I went into Bella room and grabbed her bag and just grabbed night gowns shirts pants whatever I could get my hands on and her shoes. I went into the bathroom and made sure I grabbed the stuff for her leg and personal needs. Then I knocked over her leave in conditioner and some leak out into the sink. I could smell it and it smelled like her. That's when the pain hit me again. I gripped the sink and fell to my knee. I lean my head against the counter.

 "Edward, my god boy." I heard Leo. "I'm sorry it's just it hurts and I guess I'm just a little scared that she won't.." I couldn't finish.      "Edward if there's one thing I know about my niece and that's she loves you. She going to need you and your going to be the only one that can keep her safe." He helps me up. We walk back out with everything. We finish putting the rest of the stuff into the truck. Beth comes out with another cooler. I look at her funny. "Ummm, do you expect me to feed an army or something?" I asked. "That's not food and trust me you're going to need it and I also pack something  a little stronger in there to." She told me. I shake my head. She gives me a hug. "Thank you!" I told her. I got into the truck.

  "Make sure you follow the map and where I marked it. The sheriff said they chase Charlie out of the county south and they have some guy named James in custody. There still looking for Todd and his friends but don't worry about them from what the girls said Bella was gone an least an hour before the women her let the men go I guess by the sounds of it they got a fairly good beating." Leo chuckled a little.

 "Oh Edward, Bella will be hurt Charlie got a hold of her. I don't know how bad April pulled him off. Don't worry about things here just focus on Bella and will take care of your mom, dad, and April." Beth told me.
I nodded and Leo tapped the truck and I backed out. I took a deep breath and put it gear and took off.
