Tragedies and Love Stories

"Bright!" sigaw ni Win nang mapansin niya ang unti-unting pagbagsak ng LED wall sa direksiyon nila ni Bright.

"Win!" Bright screamed in horror for the fear of what might happen to his one and only.

With enough reflexes ay mabilis na tinawid ni Bright ang distansya sa pagitan nila ni Win at saka pikit-matang dinama ang sakit ng pagkakabagsak nila. But Bright immediately felt the relief nang mapansin niyang hindi sila natamaan ng kahit na anong bahagi ng LED wall na bumagsak.

As the Arena is starting to get enveloped by that dark smoke, Bright and Win stood up with all their might. Pareho nilang nasasagap ang usok na lumalabas mula sa mga nagliliyab na bahagi ng stage. The explosions stopped but the atmosphere of fear is just getting worse. People are screaming for the horrors that befell them.

"We have to check on our family, Bright!" Win said to Bright in panic.

Bright looked at the direction of the audience's seats and he knew instantly that if they went that way, either one or both of them would not be able to make it out unscathe. So, he quickly thought of a plan. He needs to ensure na ligtas muna si Win, saka siya papasok muli sa audience's area to ensure their families safety. Malaki naman kasi ang tiwala niya to the people they hired to ensure the safety of their family. Parehong security team ang nakaatas sa mga ito.

"I know. But it isn't practical now, baby. We need to save ourselves first. I need to keep you safe first. Babalikan ko sila after," Bright told Win.

"No!" Win is starting to sound hysterical dahil parehong parents niya ang nasa audience side kaya hindi niya makontrol ang sariling maisip ang mga masasamang bagay na maaaring mangyari sa mga ito. "Please, mahal, please!" muling pilit nito kay Bright.

"Baby... baby, please calm down," pag-alo ni Bright sa ngayon ay umiiyak ng si Win.

Umubo si Win nang marahil ay malanghap ang makapal na usok na pumapalibot sa kanila. So, Bright needs to hold Win's hand and lead him going to the backstage. Pero hindi sumunod si Win kay Bright and instead let go of Bright's hands at mabilis na tinungo ang area kung nasaan ang mga magulang nila.

"Baby!" tawag ni Bright kay Win nang tumakbo ito papalayo sa kanya.

Win ran towards the direction ng mga magulang, kuya, at bestfriend niya. But the smoke was just too thick to ignore. Soon enough, nagsimulang manakit ang mga mata niya, completely blinding him of the view ahead. Then, the smoke started filling his nose.

"Mom! Dad! Kuya!" sigaw ni Win. Nag-aagaw ang takot na nadarama at ang pananakit ng mata at ang unti-unting paghirap ng paghinga niya.

"Mix!" tawag niyang muli habang patuloy na umuubo.

Win can clearly see the fire engulfing the whole stage. Hindi na rin niya matanaw si Bright dahil napakabilis ng pagtakbo niya sa ramp na nilakaran niya kanina. At dahil sinadyang gawing mahaba iyon ay napakalayo din niyon sa lagusan ng backstage. Win can no longer see anything but just smoke at ang mga nagliliyab na bahagi ng entablado.

"Win!" tawag ni Bright.

Bahagya lamang na narinig ni Win ang boses ni Bright and he immediately went nearer sa kung saan mang bahagi niya iyon naririnig. Then, he walked even more, not knowing that the more he's stepping forward ay mas lalo siyang napapalayo sa posibleng labasan sa Arena.

Win's thoughts were running wildly in his mind. He walked further and further, until the smoke finally was able to defeat him. He called with the last sound he could make, "Bright." But he was already so caught up with the fumes that he lost consciousness.
