Camila's Pov

Well here we are, back in the wood. I look around the group. Some people didn't make it..... I saw Sofi and John playing with Y/N, Jake and Lauren where talking, Ryan, Albert, Isabel, Chris, Ally and Normani were talking too. Dinah, and Dylan were out looking for food. Well before we had twenty something people, now we have fourteen.... I looked over at Y/N who is being being held down by John and Sofi. She's fake crying and calling for someone to save her from them. I smile and walk over to them. "Please someone help!" She face cried. "I'll help you!" I said in a brave voice and jumped on top of them all. We all started laughing and I sat up. "Now, I'm the boss" I said standing up. "Hey kids go play, I wanna talk to Y/N" I said and the kids ran off. "Hey you okay?" She asked getting up. "Yeh..... I'm fine, I just want to spend some time with you...... Are you okay?" I asked looking at her. "I'm.... Fine." She said looking down. "I just.... I can't believe I shot her" she said looking me up in the eyes. "I shot her too.... I shot her with you, and well I hate shooting people....." I said grabbing her hand. " It'll be better like this" I said looking into her eyes. She smiled and leans in placing her lips on mine. I kiss back and place my hands on her shoulders. I felt her hands being placed around my waist pulling me in closer. We deepened the kiss and she licked my bottom lip. Just as I'm a about to open my mouth I hear a voice. "Can you guys stop sucking faces?" I turned around to see Dinah looking at us. Y/N moved away and pulled me by the hand over to the rest. "Any luck?" Y/N asked. "No..... Animals are damn hard to find" Dinah said. " Why did you pick us to go? You know I'm the worst hunter" Dylan said. "Yeh I know.... That's why I want you to go so you can learn." Y/N said looking straight at Dylan. "I'll go........ I'm going to try to get us some food before the sun sets." She said. " I wanna come" John said looking at Y/N. "Alright but stay close" she said knowing he won't give up until she agrees. She grabbed her crossbow, knife and pistol and then she handed John a pistol and knife. "Stay safe!" I said giving her a quick kiss. " I will" she said and walked off into the woods with John on her side.

Your Pov

"Woohoo!" John said running around. "Dude shut up, you'll scare the animals." I said laughing. "Ups.... Sorry" he said and ran over to my side. " can you teach me how to use a crossbow" he asked. "Yeh.... Sure" I said and we just continued to walk in silence. "Look" he whispered placing a hand on my stomach making me stop walking and he pointed ahead with the other hand. I looked up and saw a rabbit. "Alright come here" I said. I kneel down so I'm his hight and he stands in front of me. I placed my hands around him holding the crossbow. "Okay place this hand on the handle here and the other here." I said and helped him hold my already loaded crossbow. "What now?" He asked looking behind his shoulder. "Now watch the rabbit" I said. He did as I said and I continued talking. "Now follow it with the crossbow until it stops" I said. He did as told and once the rabbit stop I said. "Now pull the trigger" I whisper. He did and the arrow went flying but it hit the ground next to the rabbit causing it to run away. "Sorry" he said and I laughed. "There's nothing you should be sorry for,it was your first time, you always mess up with your first try...... But next time I'm shooting." I said he laughed but nodded. We walked for a while longer and then I was once again stopped by John. "Look" he said pointing at something. I looked up and saw a deer. "You know.... You may be bad at shooting but you are good at spotting animals" I said and got my cross bow ready. "This mightn't kill him, but if I shoot the head it'll take it down." I said and kneeled down and aimed my bow. I waited until the deer stopped moving and then got my aim straight. I was about to shoot when a scream made the deer run away and my head to turn. I stood up to turn away and dropped my crossbow when I saw a walker on top of John. I grabbed my pistol aiming it up and shooting the walker. John pushed the walker down, curled up into a ball and started crying. I ran up to his side and hugged him. He pushed me off and looked at me scared. "Don't.... I'll hurt you!" He said and I gave him a confused look. "No you won't." I said. "Yes I will..... Look" he said holding his hands. I looked down at his hand and saw a lot of blood. I grabbed his hand and moved closer to him. "Shoot me..." He whispered and I looked up at him shocked. "I know that's the only way I won't turn, I don't wanna become one of them....... Shoot me" he said grabbing my hand."please" he said grabbing his pistol and handing it to me. I nodded and loaded the gun. I aimed the gun up and felt tears fall from my eyes. "Do it" he whispered closing his eyes. I pulled the trigger and started to cry. Sobs left my lips as I looked at his body. He was just a kid. I stood up and went to grab my cross bow. I put the strap over my shoulder and then walk over to Johns body. I pick his body up and started to walk back to the rest. He deserves to be buried. That's all I can do for him. I look down at. Him and more tears fall. I look back up and continue to walk.
