Chapter 51

Camila's Pov

"Okay this isn't as easy as it looks like" I said trying to put a diaper on Kyle. "Why is this so hard for you" Y/N asked now moving to stand next to me and started to put the diaper on. I watch as she does so and then look at her. "Well from now on your changing him" I said and let out a frustrated breath picking Kyle up. "Fine but you feed him" she said and I just nodded. "Wow you guys are really good parents." Dinah said smirking. "Shut up" I groaned and thanked Lauren once she handed me a bottle of formula. I positioned Kyle in my arms and placed the bottle onto his lips. He instantly opened his mouth and started to drink. "Fuck all those people that say taking care of children is hard... Taking care of children in a apocalypse is harder." I said looking down at Kyle. " Well that's just life" Y/N said. "Well life sucks" I said looking up. "Well at least most of it is alright." I said smiling at Y/N and when she understood she smiled too and shook her head. I felt Kyle move around in my arms and I noticed that he finished his formula. I moved the bottle away from him and placed it down. "Hey guys who wants to come with us?" Jake asked as he walked up to us. "Where to?" I asked turning around looking at him. "Dylan, Ryan, Albert and I are going to this small mall around the corner. It can have some food or something in there...medical supply.... It's worth checking." He said grabbing a gun from next to our tent. "I'll go" Y/N said standing up from her sitting position on the ground. "Stay safe." I said giving her a quick kiss before she walked off to get her guns. I sigh and sit down on the log. I look down at Kyle and smile. I hope we can make it... I hope we survive.... I look around at the small camp that we created. We found this little empty space of land in the woods. There's a city near by too. You just walk out off the woods and thee it is. We have some tents set up. A small campfire for the night. We have some kind of fence just made out of sharp sticks. Eh It's better then nothing I guess. "Hey stay safe okay" Y/N said kneeling down infront of me before. "Okay, you too" I smiled and pecked her lips. She kissed the top of Kyle's head and then stood up. She gave me one last smile before heading off.

Your Pov

"Are you sure you wanna do that?" Jake asked and I nodded. "Yeh, I think it's time" I said and gave him a small smile. "I bet she's gonna cry" Albert said. "Maybe" I said and sigh. "Okay one more question" Ryan said. "Yeh?" I asked. "How the fuck are we gonna get out of here?" He asked pointing to the door that we have now blocked because of walkers. "Well.... Let's explore this shop and check for and exit." I said looking around. "Alright" he said and started walking off. I walked off a different way and looked around the shop. I ended up being at the check out. I look around and see a lot of family pictures on the desk. I smile at the picture with what looked like two sisters hugging and smiling at the camera.i turned he picture around and there was writing on it. "306 RickRoad" I read out loud. I place the photo into my pocket and start to look around again. I spot keys on the ground and pick it up. "God dammit." I heard and I went towards the voice. "What?" I asked. "There's a emergency exit here but there's something blocking it from the other side." Dylan said trying to push the door. i look around and spot a tiny window at top of the door. "Do you think I'll fit through?" I asked and he looked at me confused. "The window." I said pointing up. "Your not doing that what if it's a room full of walkers." He said. "Well I'll look through the window and if there's no walkers I'm going through." I said and he gave me an unsure look. "Come on" I said. "It can be our only way out." I said looking him straight in the eyes. "Fine." He said and let out a long breath. "Guys! Come to the back of the shop." I said loud enough for the guys to hear. Dylan placed his fun down and got ready. "Ready" he asked as the guys came into view. I nodded and got onto his hands. I opened the window and looked around. "It's clear I said and started to pull my body into the tiny room with stairs leading down and up. Once I made it through I saw a fridge in front of the door. "Are you fucking kidding me?" I said out loud and went to grab the fridge. I decided to push the fridge down to its side. It fell down making a loud noise. "Shit" I pushed the fridge out of the way and opened the door. "Da Dah" I smiled and turned around. "Down the stairs we go" Dylan said sighing. we all went down the stairs and surprisingly there were no walkers there. "Alright what do we do when we get back?" I asked. "Well I was thinking we could move" Jake said. "What?" I asked confused. "Well here look" he said and showed me the map. "So we are here" he pointed to a spot on the map. "And I was thinking if we can walk all the way here. We can try and make a home there." He said moving his finger not that far from where it was before. "What's there to find?" I asked confused. "Well a prison. A really big prison." He said and I shook my head. "It'll be full of walkers." I sigh and think about how many walkers there will be. "It's worth a try" he said and I looked into his eyes to see if he's serious. "I guess we can try" I said and with that we headed back to camp.

A/N- hey guys sorry I haven't updated in a while I had exams and I had to study a lot and when I tried writing my mind was blank so I'm really sorry guys :/ but now the exams are over so I have more time to update now :)
