"It's always have and never hold, cause you've begun to feel like home..."

Y/n's Pov:

After Aidan left I didn't know what to do now, and now I was just standing in the middle of his room. Even though I had spent most of my time alone I hated it now, it felt overwhelming somehow. Chills went down my spine thinking about it, I was nothing but a nervous wreck now.

Why?

I went in to the closet and changed, then eventually went downstairs and saw everyone in the kitchen. Madison on her phone, Mason and Donovan smacking each other for no reason, and Yelena just wanting the boys to shut up.

I wouldn't blame her, and then to my surprise Aidan was the one cooking, to me I thought of him of trying to be better than everyone else here. Therefore the cocky side he had to him, but what I was witnessing right now was a different Aidan.

I sat next to Yelena who I had never heard talk before, but that wasn't any of my business. The only empty seat was the one next to Yelena, coincidence..

"Я никогда не знал, что такая девушка, как ты, может так много говорить-" I looked at her confused, "I don't speak.. Russian, sorry" I smiled a little taking the seat next to her.

"I'm kidding.." she laughed a little, "Wait, what did you say?" I asked her. She ignored the question by taking a sip of her drink and turning back to me, "My brothers taught me how to cook with simply just eggs and then vodka for seasoning."

I'm going insane right now..

"Cool?" I responded, not knowing how else to even respond to something like that. "UGH! Yelena nobody cares about you and your great depression lifestyle!" Madison turned to us, specifically Yelena who rolled her eyes.

"По крайней мере, я не такая сука, как." Yelena smirked getting up. The awkward moment was interrupted by Aidan handing us plates, "Thank you-" I smiled a little at him, he nodded in response as he passed out the remaining plates.

Suddenly a loud thud came from next to me, "I'm not eating this, Aidan. What have I told you? Cook regularly like the rest of us! None of this plant crap-" Madison started complaining, but while she did Aidan had no expression, he just leaned on the kitchen counter staring at her with his arms crossed.

"So make it yourself.." he came back at her. Madison was the type to bitch about anything and everything, no wonder her parents were never home.

I was honestly just glad that it wasn't school lunch or stale poptarts from my moms, he was good at cooking, and it was a simple breakfast.

I looked over to see if Aidan was going to join us but instead he sat at the main dining area by himself, I grabbed my plate and walked over to him.

"Is this seat taken?" I asked knowing well that it wasn't. He nodded no, "Sit, I don't care.." he looked at me. I sat across from him now hesitant to eat, at least in front of him.

That was my biggest fear, either eating in public or just people at a house. I can barely remember the last time I hate with confidence and didn't feel like shit for eating, even if I hadn't eaten all day.

"Y/n?"

I looked at him shaking my leg trying to stop it.

"Is everything ok?"

I didn't respond.

"Hey, talk to me-"

I tried to, but I couldn't, my mouth was open but nothing came out.

I blinked and Aidan was gone, where did he go?

All the noise in the background started to sound fuzzy and a ringing started in my ear.

I tried to cover them, but that did nothing.

My breath started to tremble, was I nervous?

Somebody grabbed my wrists removing them from my ears and making me look at them, it was Aidan. "Y/n! Hey!" He snapped his fingers in front of me and I snapped out of it, he held my hands in my lap on his knees looking at me.

"I d-don't.. I don't know what happened-" I choked on my sentence not wanting to look at him.

He moved my face slowly to look at him, I never knew how green his eyes were.. The ringing had stopped, and I could breathe again. "Do you normally have panic attacks like this?" He asked out of the blue, "No? I don't know.."

I wanted to move my hand away from his but right now he was the only touch and comfort I trusted. So I kept my hand in his.

"Come on.. It can just be me and you today, how does that sound?" He suggested.

I nodded slightly whispering ok. He stood up and looked down at me, first he crouched and put his hand on my back and other under my legs picking me up. "Aidan!? Put me down!-" I wasn't in the mood to be kidnapped and murdered right now.

"Calm down, jesus christ Y/n.." I could tell he was trying not to smile, he brought me up the stairs and in to his room. He sat me on the edge of his bed letting out a laugh while he sat next to me.

"What?" I asked, he looked at me still smiling from his laughter. His smile, I didn't know how happy he could look, I felt myself start to smile while he tried to stop giggling to himself. And then he stopped, both of us still stared at each other, admiring each other's faces. Looking at him I thought to myself-

How could someone hurt this boy? You could tell that the innocent boy was no longer innocent at an early age. He didn't deserve this.

Soon our faces became closer, were either of us thinking straight? And then our lips became centimeters apart, his warm breath hitting mine. I leaned in closer feeling his lips press in to mine, he was gentle when he made contact with me.

I felt him pull away and place his hand on my cheek looking at me, niether of us could make out words of what just happened.

I only count this kiss my first, because this was the only one I accepted, unlike the past ones. Still silent we sat together, I soon rested my head on his shoulder.

I stared down at his hand, wanting to hold it again. But I'd probably make it more awkward, "It's ok.." he said quietly holding his hand out in his lap. I slowly put mine in his, and then felt his head rest on mine.
