Aidan's Pov:
I finally got out of the car after dreading of going to Josh's party, I walked up to his door and being an idiot I knocked. Knowing well that no one on the inside would hear it because of the music playing inside, but surprisingly someone opened the door.
"Hi, are you here for the part- wait that was stupid of me, of course you're here for the party. Come in-" a girl replied opening the door wider, I smiled and gave her a slight nod coming in to the house.
"Aidan? Surprised that you came for once!" A familiar arm wrapped around my neck, "Josh, and I see your high already?" I laughed a little.
"Not yet, just a little.." I rolled my eyes laughing knowing that the little wasn't actually a little like he said. I glanced at the girl who had let me in earlier and looked back at Josh, "Who is she?" I asked.
He looked over where I was looking and noticed to girl who's hair was bleached and dyed a pink almost red color, but a kind of reddish pink that fit her.
"Sarah Collins, she just moved here-" I heard him say before walking off somewhere in the house, looking back where Sarah was she was gone too.
I looked down slightly and went over to where the beverages were, "Fucking hell Josh.." I muttered while all I saw was alcohol, I mean yeah that's what you expect at a house party but there wasn't even at least water bottles. I guess I'll just be dehydrated while I'm here.
I sat down outside in the backyard, finding Josh and a couple other's with him sitting around the firepit that was built in to the ground, "Aidan, Josh tells us a lot about you. Heard you were trying to knock up on the new girl Sarah?" I saw Dallas staring at me smirking.
"Excuse me?", the other's laughed including Josh, "You're high, what he's trying to say is you being the first guy to get in her pants-" I stayed quiet, wanting nothing to do with that.
I just thought she was a nice girl, "You know I don't mind if you both knock off in my bedroom Aidan."
Said Josh who was putting a cup to his lips, "I'm going to the bathroom.." I finally spoke walking off feeling uncomfortable. While I walked off I heard the group cheering me on, I ignored it and went to the bathroom.
I went in and stood over the sink cupping my face with my hands, "Fuck!" I yelled pulling on my hair, I knew that they were just high and drunk but still. I hated it.
It took me a minute to realize I was sitting on the floor against the wall of the bathroom, I didn't care at this point.
The music that surrounded the entire house muffled, including everyone who was talking or messing around. Suddenly it got louder and then muffled again, I looked up and saw her.
"Sarah?" I don't think she knew I was there, for when I said her name she jumped a little.
She looked at me and smiled, "I didn't know you were in here, I can leave if you-" I cut her off and stood up. "No, no I was just getting air?" I realized I should have said something else than getting air. "Shit uh-" I kept stammering.
"Aidan Gallagher, nome insolito ma mi piace, ti fa distinguere dagli altri che si sballano fuori." She smiled a little coming over to me, "È così?" I smiled. She gave me a surprised look when I knew what she was saying.
"Non ho mai pensato a un ragazzo come te che conoscesse l'italiano." I shrugged a little, "Only a little-"
"Well, for only being a little you're pretty fluent.."
I shook my head, "I'm not-"
"Are so."
"No I'd probably be a disgrace if I ever went to Italy." I held in my laugh only to hear her start laughing, "You would not be a disgrace." She looked at me, and then I looked at her. It was silent for a minute, the only noise we heard was the music in the background playing.
I felt her hand slowly grab mine, putting her fingers between mine. Letting her, we kept eye contact, our breathing patterns matched.
What the hell was I doing?
I leaned in and kissed her, I got scared and wanted to stop. But when I was about to pull away she kissed back, I looked at her afterwards, and still had the same smile from earlier. I took a step back from her and looked away for a second.
"I-I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have done that.." what was wrong with me? "Don't worry about it, plus.. I like you too." Her voice was quiet now, but still the sweet tone she had.
"Aidan!"
I jumped up looking out of the car window, seeing Yelena concerned. "Shit.." I rubbed my eyes looking at what time it was, 9:47PM. "What the hell! Do you know what time I even left the house?!" I opened the door getting out.
"Yeah, at 2- Madison thought you stole her car or something. She's been bitching None stop, we tried calling you and then Y/n-" I looked at her, "What happened?" I cut her off. "She-" I was scared for her to finish and went in to the house looking for her.
"Y/n!" If something happened to her, it'd be my fault. "Aidan what the hell happened? I was worried-" I heard her say from the hallway, "Y-You're ok?" She looked at me confused.
"Yeah? I've been worried about you, you weren't answering your phone.." I went over to her and hugged her, she wrapped her arms around my waist hugging back. "I'm so.. so sorry.." I whispered in her ear.
"Aidan, you didn't do anything. I was just scared something might have happened, were you here the whole time?" I nodded.
"I went out, like Yelena said and when she told me Madison and the others were back I drove back. I don't- I don't know what happened after that.." I looked down slightly at Y/n.
I knew she was wanting to ask me more of why I didn't just come inside, but I really had no idea of what happened.
