"But nothing ever stops you leaving. Quiet when I'm coming, and I'm on my own..."

Y/n's Pov:

I followed Aidan after I had packed, this time almost everything I owned. It felt messed up in a way to be living at Madison's but there were sometimes where I was convinced that her parents abandoned her. But the rent and everything else was always paid from what I've heard.

We put everything in the car and got in, I still felt the same though. I didn't know if I was happy or not, I felt Aidan's hand touch my leg and I looked at him.

"You ok?" I nodded in response and put on my seatbelt, he started to drive down the road and I looked out of the window. "You know what would be nice?" I started, "What is it?" He asked, I laughed thinking about it.

It was probably stupid. "Moving to New York and restarting.." we stopped at a stop sign when I finished and he glanced over looking at me.

"Restart? What do you mean?" He sounded nervous, "No no, not like that. What I meant was like get away from all of this, just.. me and you-" I looked at him slightly, seeing that he gave me a smile with his lips together.

He started driving again once it was clear to go, "I like that idea-" he said suddenly. "You know, it probably sounds really stupid to ask but what did you want to be when you grew up?" He asked, I thought about it for a minute wondering, what did I want to be when I grew up.

If I'm being honest, I didn't know, either I had something I wanted to do and forgot or I just had no clue. I shrugged a little, "I don't know.." I started. A couple seconds later I heard him giggling, "Come on, you gotta have something at least-" he said through his giggling.

"Nada, I got nothing" I kept saying, "Fine, but mine is music. Whether its playing an instrument or singing."

That was something I never knew about him until now, maybe because of all the shit that's been happening. Honestly I wished that we spent more time getting to know each other in the beginning.

I smiled and noticed that his right arm was resting on the center console, I put my hand on top of his, and felt him slowly turn his hand over and his fingers coming in between mine.

I did the same, his hand holding to mine tightly as if I were going to slip away from him somehow. "I love you, Aidan." I said softly, the car stopped and when I looked infront of me we were at Madison's.

He let go of my hand, and with the same one he turned my face towards him and without hesitation kissed me keeping his hand on my collarbone.

Just the slightest touch of him, or smell, made me feel something. I didn't how to describe it but it made me happy and comfortable with him, I never wanted to lose this boy.

And I knew that he didn't want to lose me either, we wouldn't know what we would do without each other. Some will say it's just clingyness, some will say it's a phase somehow. But to me this was my person, he was the one I wanted to be with until I died.

Sometimes it's crazy of how he was just a random boy that went to the same school as me, to now this. He was obsessed, I was obsessed, we both were obsessed. It was obvious.

No doubt that it was just a staged act, it was real and no one could doubt it, even if they tried to doubt the love we felt for each other. For once we both were loved, appreciated, and comforted, all just by having each other.

I loved him so much that sometimes I didn't want him to pull away from me, I just wanted to feel his warmth, his touch, his lips.

Sometimes I wish I could explain on how much I loved this boy, but it felt complicated to do so. We pulled away still with our noses touching, and I laughed a little. "I love you too-" Aidan said starting to laugh as well, I rolled my eyes slightly and kissed his cheek then got out of the car.
