Chapter 21: A Special Power from a Special Light

"Whoa-ho-ho-ho-ho!" exclaimed Aleyah as she felt it.

"I've never felt a power this great before," said Blaze,"Who else experienced that?"

"None of us, Blaze! It's like I'm in a Super Form without the Chaos Emeralds!" said Silver.

"Yeah, no kidding!" said Aleyah.

Seeing how they received the power from the special light, Shadow found himself in a moment of hesitation. Then, after realizing how powerful it is enough to defeat it, he decided to make space for the battle and analyze the whole thing.

"You may have that much power, but I'll still win since I have that forcefield," said Eggman Nega stroking his mustache.

"Not with this power you won't!" said Aleyah as she flew and glided towards the forcefield. Then, her fists clenched and punched the center of the forcefield. Finally, a single crack was made. Then, she flipped herself back to Silver and Blaze.

Eggman Nega was even more shocked that the forcefield is not all-power-proofed at all. "No! It can't be!"

As for Silver and Blaze, they grinned impressively about what she did.

Blaze turned to the other two. "Ready?"

"Ready!" said Silver and Aleyah in unison.

"Now, let's give everything we've got," she said.

With that being said, they all floated up to the height of the forcefield and used their powers at once to break the forcefield. This time, it actually did causing Eggman Nega to fear the powers sent by that light.

"He's all yours," Blaze told the Silver and Aleyah.
The duo nodded as Blaze floated back at the ground and the power that's too much for her was turned back to a normal, fiery one.

Silver and Aleyah turned to each other and started holding hands.

"You ready, Leyah?" Silver asked her with determination.

"You bet, Silver! Let's finish this!" answered Aleyah with determination.

That's when they faced Eggman Nega determinedly, who still feared of that kind of power.

"All you want is to cause dominion and destruction to the world especially everyone's future! And now, we defeat you with a special power from a special light and save the world!" said Silver.

That's when they used all that power to make one strike at the Egg Demon and immediately, its systems were shut down and it was blown to pieces.

"No!!!" said Eggman Nega, his last word before being defeated.

After Eggman Nega's defeat and the damage of the Egg Demon, Silver and Aleyah's special powers were turned back to normal ones as they both floated down to the ground. Suddenly, the two became exhausted causing hands to catch them.
Silver and Aleyah opened their eyes and looked over at Blaze and Runa, who caught them in their hands.

Wait, Runa?! What's she doing here? Oh, Blaze must've called the others here in case the two get that exhausted.

Anyways, the two got up and faced them.

"Thanks, Blaze," Silver told her.

"Same to you, sis," Aleyah thanked Runa.

Runa chuckled and put her hands up with no need for thanks,"No need to thank me, stepsis. It was you two who saved the day in the end."

"Yeah. I saw that light earlier, which helped you defeat him!" said Tangle. "It's so cool, yet a little too powerful at the same time."

"I know! I'm not sure why it gave us that much power," said Silver.

"Yeah, it's like we've become super without the Chaos Emeralds!" Aleyah stated.

"Same, except that it's like I'm Burning Blaze without my Sol Emeralds," said Blaze. Then her left index finger moved to her chin. "But I'm wondering where that special light came from. It's like it's giving us power to defeat Eggman Nega in the Egg Demon all of a sudden."

"Egg Demon?" asked Sonic confusingly.

"You know, the one with the serpent's head and the devil wings," said Aleyah.

Silver noticed that there's still a sack of presents and scraps of the Egg Demon lying there and that Eggman Nega disappeared out of nowhere.

"Uh, I hate to interrupt, but what do we do with these?"

As he said this, he held out a sack of presents. As everyone looked over, an idea suddenly popped into Tails' head.

"Why don't we help put back the presents?"

Everyone turned to him in confusion.

"But we don't even know where to put them and what proper place," said Aleyah.

"I will scan the gifts for proper places," said Omega.

"Well, I guess we should split up into groups again since we have a lot of gifts to put back," said Runa.

Everyone nodded in definite agreement. That's when they split up into groups and each group carried some presents and brought them to Omega. Then, he scanned presents and told them what proper place. Then, Gemerl was sent to lead them to proper places, so that presents will be sent correctly.

After Christmas was saved, they all went back to the Restoration HQ to celebrate Christmas. Well, almost everyone. Sonic, Tails, Tangle and Amy had informed Jewel, Lanolin, Belle and the rest of the Restoration about what had happened. After the whole story, joy, happiness, kindness amd generosity were involved in the celebration. Especially the gift-giving scenes.

As for Knuckles, he still had to guard the Master Emerald, so he decided to have his own holiday in Angel Island. Blaze went back to her own dimension to continue enjoying the holiday.

As for Shadow, the public never knew what happened after this except that he went into an unknown place. In reality, he and Darkly were actually standing nearby the Flicky Forest. They were both watching how Runa and her adoptive parents celebrate Christmas with her five chao friends and her other other Flicky friends.

A slight smirk appeared on Shadow's face enjoying the view.

As for Silver... well, let's just say he had a reward of buying gifts for free. And so, he bought the dress Aleyah had always wanted with a big smile on his face. He couldn't wait to see her reaction when she receives it.
