The thunder roared once more, as Prism herself had been standing in the middle of the storm of black clouds; she had her weapons ready for what had laid within. Adrien had been at her feet as he had been twitching and his mouth had been foaming. Her breath had been shaking, as she looked around as she could feel her body trembling. She could hear herself humming, though her voice had been shaking as she had hummed the tune.
"It'll be okay..." She found herself whispering, "... It'll be okay..."
She heard the sound of something running just behind her.
Her instincts were telling her to run too, but... She didn't want to leave Adrien alone.
She had to stay her ground... Despite the amount of fear she felt.
It hadn't been long before she heard a voice, or rather, someone whistling. The very tune of it had been familiar to her ears, yet at the same time, it was haunting that filled the chills she already felt in her body. Despite the thunder she could hear it coming from all around her.
"He-Hello?" Prism said, "Is someone there?"
The whistling soon stopped, as it made her flinch.
"GIVE... UP..."
The minute she turned around, she found herself screaming.
***
Prism sat upright in her bed as she shrieked; the sound of it startled Adrien and Theodore as Theodore ended up falling off the bed with a screech. She took deep breaths as she tried her best to collect herself; she felt her heart beating so fast, she thought at any moment it would come out of her chest.
"Deep breaths--Deep breaths--" Prism told herself, as Adrien ran over to the bed and rested his head on the bed, "--Just a beating drum, like a beating drum..."
Adrien put his head against her body as he started to purr. She could feel her heart starting to beat steady now. "Thanks bud."
"Hey--" Theodore said as he crawled up on the bed, "--You woke me up pretty lady. I dreamt I was ruling everything!"
"Sorry Theo--" Prism replied as she gave him a smile, some of the spirits rested on her shoulders, "--I--I just had a bad dream, that's all."
"It was a pretty loud dream you had." Theodore said in a monotone voice, before he found himself falling from the bed as he squeaked, "I have fallen... And I choose not to get up."
Prism only giggled, "Hang on, buddy, I got you."
She crawled over on the bed as she gave him her hand; he took it with his little paw as she pulled him up. "Are you okay, are you hurt?" She asked
"Don't worry, my head broke my fall." Theodore said as he rubbed a certain spot, as his eyes were still blue.
"Well, I'll make you some hashbrowns when morning comes to make up for it." Prism said, as she went to give him a pat on the head, but oddly enough she had trouble moving it, "I know how much you like--"
Prism cut herself off as her face paled at the sight of her arm which had contained the burn scar. Her whole entire arm, right down to her hands, had been filled with silver scales; even her fingers had been long and slender as she could see she had a set of black claws. She even noticed she had four fingers instead of five. Now that she had gotten a good look, she could feel how heavy her arm was.
"Oh look at that!" Theodore said as his eyes were pink, "You got a new arm!"
Theodore was soon startled as Prism started to scream again, this time it had been out of fear; some of the spirits were startled as some of them had started to become shriveled and lose their color. She started to back up till her back hit the window as she could only scream.
