It had been another ordinary day in the Black Bulls Base. Everyone had been enjoying their free time as the day had been nearing an end. Prism had been enjoying herself with the Borrowers, Molly and Robin as they had been enjoying storytime with her along with Avalon's younger siblings and even Sachiko.

She had been reading to Alistar and Theodore specifically in the common room as Alistar had been focused like a child listening to his mother. Theodore's eyes lit up like the stars as she told the tale. Even Gordon seemed to be listening though neither of them minded him.

Even the spirits enjoyed themselves as some of them sat in the kids lap, head or shoulder.

"--Frith could've killed the Prince Rabbit then and there, but he needed him for his hijinks and tricks. So instead he called upon a meeting for all of the animals of the world. Upon the homba the Black Rabbit gave great cunning--" Prism read, as they looked in amazement, "--Upon the hawk, sharp talons. Upon the cat, silent feet, upon the weasel great speed, and upon the wolf--Great teeth! All to hunt and slay the children of Eli-Ahrairah. These animals became the Elil--The Thousand Enemies of Rabbits."

Most of the group gasped at this.

"No way!" Molly said, shocked.

"I could've told you that was the next thing!" Robin said with confidence.

"What happened next?!" Angus asked as he raised his hand.

Prism giggled at his enthusiasm before she continued, "It was but a few days later, Eli-Ahrairah went to confront the Black Rabbit himself once he had heard what he had done."

The Familiars who sat beside her proceeded to assist. Brenin soon read a section from the story, as if he had been playing as the Prince Rabbit himself.

"You have condemned my people to the lives of fear, Lord!" Brenin said as he had a hand puppet of a white rabbit while doing a voice.

Liam had a hand puppet of a black rabbit, as he spoke in a voice himself, "Do you not wish to see the blessings I have for your people, Prince Rabbit?"

Brenin pretended to scoff as he turned the hand puppet's back to the black rabbit while his tail had been rocking a crib back and forth when little baby Ronan cried a little, "To my bottom give your blessings!"

"Very well--" Liam said, before Saorise started to attach parts on the hand puppet rabbit to give a visual, "--Grow a tail to confuse those chasing you, and legs to outrun them. Grow ears to hear any of your thousand enemies from miles away. All the world will be your enemy, Prince of a Thousand enemies. And when they catch you, they will kill you. But first--They must catch you."

"--And so Eli-Ahrairah took his new gifts, and kept the words of the Black Rabbit to heart." Prism read, "And though he was outnumbered by his enemies, he would keep them on their toes. For he had his thousand tricks to combat his Thousands of Enemies. The End."

The whole group clapped at the end of the story while Prism, and the Familiars bowed.

"What a wonderful story." Gordon said as he clapped. "That was a marvelous performance."

"Awww thanks Gordon." Prism said.

"We could've done it without your puppets buddy, thanks again!" Saorise said with a smile.

"Feel free to ask for my assistance anytime!" Gordon said with a mumble.

"We'll take you up on that offer." Prism said.

"Never thought you'd have this kind of talent." Liam said as he played with the puppet a bit.

"Never judge a book by its cover." Molly said, "Least that's what Pa tells us."
