-Clover Castle-

Marx had been able to reach the castle safely with the children, as they had taken shelter within the kitchen as they were more then happy to keep their mouths shut as according to the head chief had more important things to worry about. He didn't even mind or question that there were just two elves in his kitchen.

Jubei and Vandy had been huddled together with Avalon's younger siblings as Marvin had his grimoire ready in case anything happened. Though it hadn't been long before the sounds died down.

"Hey--" Vandy said, "--It sounds like everythings quiet now."

"Do you think that means it's over?" Jubei asked.

"I'm not sure." Marx replied.

"I'm scared--" Avalon's youngest sibling, Kylie said, "--I want big sister..."

"Don't worry--" Marx said as patted her head, "--I'm sure she's somewhere safe."

"Marx--" One of the cooks said before telling him silently, that someone was coming.

Marx had quickly ushered the children behind the large pot in the middle of room, before motioning them to stay quiet; Marvin put himself over them just in case; the little baby Ronan nearly started to cry before Ian took him from his younger brother and started to bounce him to calm him. That was when another mage entered the kitchen. "Marx, there you are!" He said, "The King has been trying to summon you, he's been asking for the Wizard King."

Marx sighed as he shook his head, "Alright, I'll be right there."

The mage nodded before he left them alone; he soon turned to Marvin.

"Stay with them until I return." Marx said to him, "It shouldn't take long."

"O-Okay." Marvin said as he nodded.

"All of you stay here with him--" Marx soon told the children, "--I'll be back as soon as I can."

Before anything else could be said Marx quickly left the room, being as casual as possible as not to arouse anyones suspicions.

"D-Don't worry kids." Marvin said comfortingly despite his stammering, "A-As soon as Marx is back, we'll go see your family okay?"

"Thanks Marvin." Vandy said, giving him a pat on the arm.

"What are we supposed to do now?" The young boy with watermelon pink eyes--Angus asked.

"Big sister will come right?" Kylie asked.

"She will." The second eldest boy--Ian said, "She promised, remember?"

"She'll find her way here." The first eldest boy Conor added, "And when she's here, we'll go and see Lockwynn."

Despite the reassurance, the little kids looked uneasy as they had started to shake.

Soon one of the cooks went over and gave them each some water as Vandy and Jubei noticed the uneasiness. It was then they had thought of an idea.

"You thinking what I'm thinking, brother?" Jubei asked.

"Oh yeah!" Vandy said, he soon turned to the kids, "Hey--Does your big sister ever think about staying with the Magic Knights?"

The kids looked confused by this sort of thing. "Kids don't stay with Magic Knights." Angus said as he drank the glass of water, "Avalon said so."

"She said that kids like us don't get to stay there--" Conor said nonchalantly, "--They go to a Church."
