Page 48 Epilogue: Welcome to the Black Bulls

It had been around the evening by the time Prism seemed to have regained her senses. By the time she managed to regain her senses she had a splitting headache and the spirits were already doing what they could to ease her pain. And not to mention--Her Uncle Nolan and Yami had been sitting at her bedside.

"Hey there honey--" Nolan said, "--Come back to your senses?"

"... Hi Uncle Nolan... Hi Yami..." Prism said as she sat up, as she rubbed her eyes, "... Have I been sleeping?"

Nolan laughed a little, "Figures you wouldn't remember what happened earlier. You got a little crazy and finally calmed down when Yami read you Robin Hood."

Prism couldn't help but let out an embarrassed squeal as her face turned a little redder than her flushed face, "How embarrassing! Why would I do something like that?!" She soon fell back and hid herself under the pillow and sheets as the spirit looked just as embarrassed as she did. "I think I might die..."

Yami told her as he took a puff, "You almost did the first few times."

Prism flinched before she said to Yami with a pout, "You meanie."

"Your right, I'm a big meanie." Yami said with a teasing smile making Prism pout more.

Nolan chuckled a little, "Anyway--You missed one hell of a day. Heard your little friend was leading a mission."

"Theo?" Prism said a bit shocked.

Theodore soon cleared his throat as he caught her attention. Her eyes widened when she noticed the bandages wrapped around the canine.

"Bime i ele--Achoo!" Prism exclaimed, "What happened?!"

"I fought a mana beast." Theodore replied with pink eyes before they switched to blue, "It was scary..."

"A mana beast?!" Prism said shocked.

Yami told her, "Yeah, the little guy held his own for a while until Shorty and ice girl arrived. Normally I threaten to kill them but I think that'll wait till after they're better."

"Didn't you do that before?" Nolan asked.

"Shhh!" Yami told him which had Nolan give a look.

Theodore soon went over and climbed up on the bed. "How are you feeling, Pretty Lady?" He asked, "Are you okay?"

"I should be the one asking you that!" Prism said worryingly, "Does anything hurt? Are you in pain?"

"Only a little bit." Theodore replied as his eyes were blue, "But it's not so bad, once you get used to the pain." His eyes soon turned gray, "But I'm more worried about you Pretty Lady. Are you feeling any better?"

Prism looked a bit taken back by this, though she couldn't help but smile a little, "Don't worry Theo--" She said as she hugged him being careful of his wounds, "--I got enough rest, so I feel alright."

Theodore sighed with relief, "Oh good. Oh yeah, I have good news!" Theodore soon showed her a vial of the sunheart, "We got the sunheart for you and the others! So this way--You can get better!"

Prism had a look of awe, "Theo--You went out to get these for us?"

Theodore nodded, "At first--Gorilla didn't want me to go, but I was able to help out everyone in the end! I know I'm small and can't do much but--I wanted to do my part in helping out, even if it meant I got hurt!"

"Theo..." Prism said as her look softened.

"I know--It hasn't been that long--" Theodore said before he hugged as some of the spirits rested on her his head and shoulder, "And I know I'm small but... I wanted to be able to do my part to help you and everyone else!" His paws started to shake a little, "I--Wasn't much to the Pack, mostly because I was being treated like a mule and--I didn't even know it."

He soon thought to his master, and the second person that seemed to have appeared in his head earlier that day.

"I--Don't know who my Master is, or the other was--" Theodore said, "--But all I know is--They're important as you and everyone else! That's why from now on I want to do whatever it takes to protect my new family!"

Prism had been a bit confused by the term other person as Yami and Nolan had the same reaction. Despite this Prism smiled as she gave the little canine a hug.

"I'm happy you feel that way Theo." Prism said, "You've come a long way since we first met. So it makes me happy that you think of me and the others as a family."

"Pretty Lady--" Theodore said before he nuzzled his face into her chest.

"Oh--" She soon said as she sniffled her stuffy nose, "--That reminds me, I have something for you."

Theodore tilted his head while Nolan and Yami looked a bit confused. They were a bit surprised when Prism stood from the bed despite her staggering a little.

"Don't push yourself Prism." Nolan told her as he noticed that her legs had been shaking a little. She had soon gotten to the dresser provided as she took hold of the bag. She rummaged through before they noticed her pull out what looked to be a black bandana.

"I meant to give this to you when we returned to the Black Bulls--" Prism explained, "--But because of all you did for us, you deserve it."

"Hyuu?" Theodore said.

Prism was able to get to the bed after Yami assisted her. She soon handed him the bandana though he had been taken back. The black bandana had the design of a bull, but it looked to be smaller then the emblem and much cuter then the robe she and the others usually wore.

Theodore's eyes sparkled at the sight.

"I-It was my first time designing something really complicated--" She said embarrassed, "--And I couldn't get the bull to look right so it ended up looking like this. I know it's not the actual robe but it would be too big for you. I hope this will be alright."

Theodore looked to the bandana in his paws, for the longest time saying nothing. He soon put it around his neck as he tied it into a knot; the chibi bull had been on the front as he wore it like a scarf.

"This--Shall suffice." He said as his eyes were green the moment he blinked.

"Really?" Prism said.

Just then they noticed Theodore's bottom lip started to tremble. It hadn't been long before he started to bawl his eyes out. "I LOVE IT SO MUCH PRETTY LADY!!" He shouted through his tears as he hugged her, "I LOVE YOU PRETTY LADY!"

"Aww--" Prism said as she hugged him back despite her stuffed and somewhat wet nose, "--I love you too Theo."

"Looks like you got yourself a new little member youngin." Nolan said.

"First clean his face." Yami told her. "He's getting his snot all over those sheets."

"What was that Yami?" Prism said not even noticing the rope of snot on her gown and bedsheets as they broke the hug which startled even the Spirits.

Yami's eye twitched before he ended up pulling Theodore off of Prism, shocking them both. "On second thought, fun's over."

"BUT I WANTED TO HUG MORE!!" Theodore shouted as he was still in tears, "I DIDN'T GIVE HER ENOUGH LOVE!"

Yami told him as he carried him out of the room, "You gave her plenty! Now leave her to rest."

"WAAAHHH!!" Theodore cried as they went to take down the hall.

Prism only looked confused by this sort of thing as she could hear Theodore still crying down the hall. "Um--" Prism said, "--Did Yami want to get hugged too?"

Nolan sighed as he turned to Prism, "Maybe he had the right idea. What do you say we uh--Get your gown cleaned up?"

Prism looked confused before she noticed the state of her gown. "AH! MY GOWN!!" She exclaimed as she jumped.
