(Fourth Opening Theme: That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime OP2-Meguru Mono Performed by Takuma Terashima)

-Centuries Ago; Royal Capital (Clover Castle)-

The summer day had been one of the most beautiful that the kingdom ever did see. Many of the citizens didn't want to waste the day, especially since it had been so early in the morning. Others had just wanted to spend the day sleeping in.

This had been the case of the King of Clover himself; more specifically the second King and elderly son to be exact.

The kingdom knew the eldest son, as Zeid Silvamillion Clover as he had been sound asleep in his bed.

He would've slept for hours if a servant hadn't entered the room. It had been a young maid with dark hair as her eyes had been a blue sapphire color.

"Your majesty--" She said as she opened the curtains allowing the sun to come through the windows as he let out a groan, "--It's time to wake up."

Zeid groaned as he rolled over on his stomach as he groaned, trying his best to hide his face under the pillow.

"Your majesty--" She said as she shook him, "--Please. This is no time for you to sleep in."

"Fine, fine, I'm up." He said with a groan.

He sat himself up as he let out a yawn; His hair had been long and messy as he even looked to be growing a beard. The only thing he had gone to bed with had been a set of tunic pants as he yawned.

"Your father has requested your presence in today's meeting." She said as she had started to fix up his hair a little, "You and the Prince are to meet with his Royal Majesty of Diamond and Hearts, and her Highness from Spades."

"Oh? Was that today?" Zeid said as he fixed up his bangs when she was done; he made it so most of his bangs covered his left eye, "It must've slipped my mind."

"In addition to the meeting--" She said as she helped dress him into his dark green pants and collared shirt, "--He would like to discuss the terms of engagement--"

"--Pass." He immediately said while fixing up his green cape, and allowed the servant to place a golden crown with the clover insignia on his head, "It's such a pain in the ass that he keeps nagging me, even though I'm already a married man. Ah, then again it's not like he knows that."

"Yes my King." The young woman said, before she showed him an envelope, "Speaking of which--This letter arrived just this morning from Airedale."

    "Alma again?"

"No--This time it's from your daughter."

He looked a bit shocked before he took the envelope and opened it. Though it had been sloppy, it was indeed signed in that name and even a drawing of a blue jay. His expression brightened at this, "Her first letter and drawing, and she's not even five yet. They grow up so fast." He sighed, "It's a damn shame I can't show this off, I would've LOVED to make the other royal family jealous of my primroses talent."

"Remember your agreement with the Elders, majesty." She said.

"Yeah, yeah--I know--" Zeid said with a wave of his hand, before folding the letter and placing it in his pocket, "Come on then Michelle, we can't keep the old man waiting. I'll be having my breakfast in the meeting room."

"Yes your majesty, I'll have it arranged right away." The servant--Michelle said with a bow before she followed behind him after she had given the word to the butlers and maids that stood by.
