The group had been in shock by this. That was his claim? Was it the truth? Was it a lie? They didn't know which one they should pick. After all, he is called the Devil's Child.

Before they could ask him anything more, the moment the Boy's ears twitched again he placed the dandelions in his mouth and jumped to the trees, leaving a crater on the ground from where he stood; the force from the jump nearly made them fall over.

"Wait!" Karasu called out as he disappeared from their line of vision, "We still need to talk to you!"

"Damn it! He's fast!" Magna said, putting his sunglasses back on, "With the way he's moving we won't be able to catch him by broom!"

"Whoa, now I really want to fight him!" Luck said.

"Does she really know someone like that?" Gauche asked, "Is he another friend of yours?"

"What?! No!" Pluck said as he put away his sword, "He's DEFINITELY not someone I know!"

"But--He said her name! And said he's her friend!" Avalon said, "Are you sure you don't know him?"

Pluck shook his head vigorously, "Definitely not, one of us would've said something if that were the case!"

Noelle soon looked to where the Boy had gone, "... Just... What is going on...?" She soon noticed something: the blades of grass.

Something red.

She kneeled down before she examined the substance on her finger.

"... Is this blood?" Noelle pondered aloud.

Nolan, nor Yukiko, Cadfan, and Gooden didn't know what to expect when they met the head of the Wellington family. They just went on keeping their own thoughts about the man to themselves and did their best not to say anything. The house looked like any other royal and nobility in the capital, though the thing Nolan noted was how jittery the servants looked in the house.

Some of them looked scared of something, though given the way the man gave off his presence when he stepped into the room. The man had been a bit portly and wore a dark red suit that looked brand new and he had been bald.

Beside him had been two sons, one looked to be in his twenties while the other looked to be about fifteen, though both had sad expressions.

"I apologize for the wait--" The man--Wellington said, "--I had some urgent matters to take care of. You know how it is with the trading routes."

"Oh tell me about it." Cadfan replied. "There's other simple way these days!"

"Finally!" Wellington said "Someone here understands! Though it is hard to believe you're with someone like the Black Bulls."

Cadfan laughed it off, "Hey, you win some, you lose some in the Magic Knights Exams."

Yukiko on the other hand had been standing by her husband. Cloaked in all and yet she still had her glare and her hands shook slightly.

"Keep it together Yuki." Nolan whispered, "You don't wanna blow your cover."

"Still." Yukiko said "that man--I wanna shock him."

"Just stay calm and let my brother handle it." Gooden told her, "Though believe me I get the urge."

"So then--" Cadfan said, "--I understand that this Devil's Child is causing you trouble?"
