-Centuries Ago; Before Disappearance-

Fresh snow had covered the land surrounding the small little village of Airedale. Everyone had been busy preparing for the coming festivities, both humans and Elves alike. Though one girl in particular had been running late for something. Most of the villagers had been nearly knocked over as a familiar young girl riding on a raptor had been rushing down the road heading in a certain direction.

"Prism!" One of the bystanders yelled, "You almost hit us!"

"Sorry!" Prism called out, "Running late today! Make it up to you later, bye!"

She and Adrien made a hard turn as with a shriek he and her nearly hit the ground hard; were it not for the Spirits as they quickly made a snow wall with what they had available.

"Thanks Sweetums!" She said as Adrien regained himself, "Come on bud, we're almost there!"

With a shake, Adrien continued to move forward, until they reached what looked to be a large stone house with a small yet tall tower. Many young teens and children, both humans and elves wearing gray hakama jackets had been entering the building. They chatted with one another as they each carried their own set of weapons.

Most of them noticed Prism as they casually waved hello, as she waved back at them. She soon stopped at the animal pen where different sorts of magical beasts roamed or slept as a familiar few had been lingering. It had been her Familiars and of course... Her own best friend Pluck as he had been keeping his duck Addeline warm.

"Phew!" Prism said as she hopped off of Adrien just as Brenin opened the gate for her so she could bring Adrien inside, "Made it before the first bell!"

"You're very late--" Brenin pointed out, "--Again."

"You're cutting it kind of close there, huh Shortcake?" Liam said.

Prism laughed sheepishly as the Spirits shifted colors, "Sorry, sorry! I ran into a family of rabbits. They were so cute! I had to get them for my sketchbook before they left."

Pluck rolled his eyes before telling her, "Come on, Pri. You know being tardy is against the rules. Just because your mom is in charge of the Warrior's Guild training, doesn't mean you get a free pass."

"I know, I know, but they're so cute Plu-Plu!" Prism said, "You should've seen them, they were so small and fluffy! The mom even let me pet one of them! It felt so soft!!"

He told her, giving her a light slap on the head, "One, don't call me Plu-Plu, Dummy girl. Two, that's no excuse. Three, We're teenagers now. You gotta act your age"

"Well that's a nice way to say happy birthday to someone." Prism said with a pout as she rubbed her head.

"Oh yeah, that reminds me!" Saorise said, "Your father is coming tonight right? What's your plans with him?"

"I'm not sure--" Prism replied as she removed Adrien's saddle as she threw a blanket over him, "--He said that's a surprise in his last letter so I can't wait." She soon showed off what looked to be a fluffy kind of bread from her pouch, "And look what mom left me for breakfast!"

The Familiars' eyes seemed to have lit up at the sight.

"What's that?" Brenin asked as he sniffed it.

"It smells--Fruity." Saorise said as her ears flapped slightly.

"I remember her talking about this. She called it Melon Bread." Prism replied, "It's something humans eat in the capital. Right Plu-Plu?"
