Chapter 5- Adversaries

At the Hayabusa Village, Jô Hayabusa stood on guard, while his home was engulfed in flames. Just awhile ago, arrows and fire rushed into the Temple of the Dragon. Everything else was a blur.

Spider Ninjas broke in, along with Fiends, and started murdering all the Guardians, who protected the top floor.

Jô Hayabusa looked around through the flames, obviously knowing who started this. "Genshin....why am I not surprised?"

A wall broke down, and from it stood the Leader of the Black Spider Clan, Genshin. He stared at Jô with a wicked smirk.

"How the vaunted Dragon Ninja bloodline has withered Jô Hayabusa"

Jô looked at Genshin with pity. "Your embrace of the evil way has consume you"

Genshin looked at Jô with a bit of shock. "Evil? The ninja way knows neither good nor evil."

Jô kept his body firm. "Corruption of the soul is a fate that befalls the weak"

Genshin shook in anger, raising his Blade of the Archfiend. "Enough talk! The ties that bind our clans are severed tonight"

With that he ran at Jô, who blocked the strike with his katana.

Genshin grunted in disgust. "Your blood will leave stains on my blade"

Jô smirked. "Genshin, you fool"

The door opened and two women appeared. One wore a red suit, leaving the jacket open, exposing her from neck to stomach. The other wore a tight black one-piece made of leather, and a hooded cape that covered her face.

The one in red spoke first. "The death of your kind will give us a clean path to resurrect the Archfiend"

Genshin blocked another blow from Jô. "I will have the honor of slaying him, Elizébet"

The other woman who wore the cape spoke up. "You better make sure the deed is done Genshin... or I will have to get rid of a waste of an ally."

Jô's eyes widened a little. "Your voice..."

Genshin blocked another blow. "I assure you that won't be the case.... Rin"

Elizébet and Rin smiled coldly as Genshin and Jô tore each other apart.
