Love is Deception

Prologue

"Is that the girl? She is but a pitiful human!"

"Elizébet, this is Her. Our child.... Do you not sense our blood in Her? The blood of the Necromantle?"

"My apologies Sire.... I sense Rin. She is crying out to us, wanting to be free."

"And She will."

The man's hands moved up. The ground moved and the earth split open. A body of a woman appeared from the crack, her black shirt stained with blood, dried from the months being underground.

She had long hair, the color of blood. Her skin was paler than cream. She looked like she was asleep, a beautiful way to die.

Elizébet looked at the girl. "Rin... awaken"

The girl's eyes shot up, shining a vibrant blue. Like the color of the sky in the break of dawn.

Her feet landed on the ground and she smiled at the man and woman. "Mother...father... you heard me"

The man smiled, though it was not a real smile. "Yes Rin, we have. You are missed by the Greater Fiends of our Necromantle. We have come to bring you home"

Rin bared her teeth, exposing her sharp fang-like teeth. "I would like that very much. But there is a problem... Kaida"

Elizébet showed distaste. "She can be dealt with. You can get rid of her."

Rin shook her head. "It is not possible. Her will is too strong. Stronger than those who've been cursed before her. It will be difficult, for she will not let me control her body so easily."

The man grazed his long beard. "Fear not my child. I will handle this... Kaida, come to me"

Rin stood there for a moment, before yelling out in pain. Her sharp teeth disappeared to show those of a normal human being. Her eyes turned a shade darker, like a sky blue crayon.

The man looked at her with envy. "Kaida I presume? I must say you must be quite strong to be able to cause such pain to my child during the transition of spirits"

Kaida ignored his words. She looked at herself in amazement. "I'm alive?" She said to herself. Then she looked at them man again. "You are Dagra Dai!?... you came to bring Rin back aren't you?"

The man, Dagra Dai, looked at Kaida with pleasing eyes. "How quickly you are in figuring out the truth kunoichi. I see you've done your research. But it will not help you. We will bring about the Awakening of our Princess. Neither you nor the Dragon Ninja can stop us!"

Kaida took out a kunai blade, stained black from the soil, and placed it on her throat. "I will not allow it, for you to take me..." She gasped and fell to the ground, clutching her chest.

Dagra Dai's hand glowed gently. "Tsk Tsk Tsk, such arrogance... Rin, what shall you suggest?"

Rin's cold eyes appear. "...Erase her mind. Only then will I be able to grip her body more firmly."

Elizébet nodded. "Very well Rin... last words Kaida?"

Kaida's blue eyes widened. "If you do this... you will bring destruction unto yourselves!"

Elizébet laughed as her spell began to take effect on Kaida. "And who would bring us that if you will cease to exist?"

"Ryu..."
