Ryu called out to his father before parts of the ceiling fell on top of Jô. He lost his grip and fell along with the rubble.
Genshin and the two women laughed. Ryu stared at the Spider Ninja. "You must be Genshin"
Genshin looked at Ryu. "And you must Jô Hayabusa's little cub. It is said that a Dragon Ninja would die to protect the Demon Statue... and you look so eager to fulfill your duty."
Genshin gave the Demon Statue to Rin. "Now Rin, Elizébet... you must keep your word"
Clutching the Statue, Rin disappeared, leaving Elizébet to run out the door.
Ryu ran after them, then jumped, missing Genshin's talons. Genshin grabbed his Blade of the Archfiend and gave Ryu a credulous look.
"You death will atone for generations of indignities. The bloodline of the Dragon Ninja ends here!"
He slashed his Blade down onto Ryu, slicing some of his gear. Ryu tried to stab Genshin, who moved quicker than any Spider Ninja. He kicked Ryu down and hit him with his sword like a golf ball.
Ryu held his broken rib as he kneeled. Genshin jumped and was about to finish him off.
Rin watched from a small window, her mind filled with agony mixed with hatred.
There was a clash of metal on metal.
Genshin looked in front of him to see Jô, blocking the strike.
"You're already dead!!" Genshin snarled.
Jô looked at his son. "Follow the women"
He parried Genshin's strike. "You must retrieve the Statue"
Ryu stood frozen. He felt almost relieved to see his father alive.
Jô yelled at him. "Go! Now!!"
Ryu ran out the door, leaving his father to battle Genshin alone.
