It was Friday morning two a.m. and I was tossing and turning. We were leaving for our trip in less than six hours. I just woke up from a bad dream, not the nightmares I used to have, just a bad dream. I tried to remember but I couldn’t. I got up and went to my bathroom to get a glass of water and after I was back in bed sleep was nowhere to be found. I took a book and went to sit in my bay window to read. I couldn’t concentrate on the book either so I placed it on the small table next to where I was sitting. I pulled my knees up to my chest and wrapped my arms around them. I looked at the stars and it was beautiful. Dad said we would have clear skies all the way for the trip.

As I sat there I noticed that I was playing with the ring on my finger. I thought of Daniel and everything that has happened the past week.

Sunday: After we spend most of the day by the waterfall and fooled around again, we went to the McDonalds drive thru to get something to eat because I still only had the very short short on that I got dressed in and all the malls were closed by the time we were back in town. Daniel and I were sitting on the beach and ate while we watched the sun set. It was breathtakingly beautiful.

Monday: I spend the day with Daniel, Chris and Alisa. We were swimming and playing games at the West’s house. They had a bigger pool than us and more space for games but their house was smaller than ours but still big. His parents weren’t home so it was just us. Around lunch Chris and Alisa left and Daniel and I were alone. His mother almost caught us going thru a few bases, but luckily she was a noisy person and dropped a bag of groceries just as she came into the house. Daniel and I were up in his room and quickly got dressed and busied ourselves with other things. I almost had a heart attack.

Tuesday: I went to the mall with my mother to get a few things for our trip. I went into a store and found the perfect gift for Daniel. I wanted to give him something just because and decided to buy it. We had lunch at my mom’s favorite restaurant and did more shopping. I didn’t see Daniel but we did talk on the phone.

Wednesday: Daniel picked me up at ten and we went back to the waterfall. We found out that it was private property when the owner caught us swimming. Luckily he was a friendly guy and said we were welcome anytime but we were not allowed to bring others. We promised that we would keep it a secret. The old man drove away and when we were sure that he was really gone and not lurking in the bushes or something we went back to swimming and having fun.

We were lying under the tree in the shade. Daniel had parked his jeep so that it hid us from the view of the road. We could only see the waterfall and its pool with the trees all around us shielding us from everything and everyone.

“I love this place.” He was lying in his side with his elbow on the blanket and his hand supporting his head. His other arm was tracing patterns on my back.

I was lying on my front with my arms crossed under my head. I watched him as he spoke and I couldn’t help but smiling. He looked so happy. “I love it too. Imagine if we had a house here close to the waterfall. We would be in heaven.”

“Are you thinking about living here with me or with your parents?

“My parents, why would I want to live here with you?” I saw the disappointment in his face and laughed. “With you Daniel, why would I want to live here with anyone else?”

“We could make love under this tree and over there on the soft grass.”

I lifted my head and kissed him. But Daniel didn’t want just kisses. He turned me on my back without breaking our kiss. He supported himself with his arms so his weight wouldn’t crush me. He kissed me down my neck and past my collarbone and sucked on my nipples thru my bikini. I was wearing one of the bikinis he let me wear only when we were alone.

“I love you Daniel.”

“I love you Emma.”

I knew he was close. I could see it on his face but I didn’t want him to stop now. I held tighter and another orgasm rolled thru me. A minute later I was lying in Daniel’s arms and I knew he didn’t pull out because I didn’t let him. We both knew what we did and we both ignored it.

A few minutes later we went for a swim. I was still a bit num from what happened earlier but had no regrets. We were one now. He pulled me in for a kiss.

Thursday: I didn’t see much of Daniel. My dad took Daniel and his dad to help getting supplies that we would need on the yacht. I helped my mom to get everything ready at home.

“Is everything okay Emma?”

“Yes mother, what could be wrong on a beautiful day like today?”

“How are things between you and Daniel?”

“Good. We are closer than ever.”

“Are you excited about the trip?’

“I am it is going to be so much fun.”

“I was thinking that we should maybe go see a doctor when we get back. I know your father don’t want to hear about it but I don’t want you to ruin your life with an unwanted pregnancy. I am hoping that you haven’t done it and I don’t want to encourage you, but it will be safer.”

I didn’t say anything to that, what could I say. ‘Too late mom, we already did it and we didn’t use protection and we did it outside under a tree in the middle of nowhere.’ She would kill me and Daniel.

I saw Daniel that evening when the West’s come over for a barbeque. Daniel and I just sat next to the pool talking about the trip. We loved each other and we were happy, really happy.

My phone alarm went off and I silenced it. It was time to shower and get ready for the day. I was just about to get up from my bay window seat when Enrique started singing ‘Hero’ on my phone and I answered.
