Rhea would have fallen over had her mother not grabbed her arm when they landed in London. Apparition was something she had been doing - alongside her mother - since she was young, but she had yet to master the landing. If possible her portkey landing was even worse.

Since Apparition had its limits when it came to distance, their journey from Australia had been a little difficult. While Seraphina had travelled from Australia to Britain on a monthly basis for years, it was very tiring for her. It required doing several Apparitions in a row and each new one presented an even greater risk of splinching. Doing it with two more people would definitely have been too much of a risk for all of them.

Rhea also knew that while her mother possessed magical abilities that others only could dream of, she sometimes struggled with using them. Travelling across the globe and back was exhausting for Seraphina who sometimes had to spend days recovering from the excessive use of magic.

They had arrived one hour before the train would depart from King's Cross Station, at 10 o'clock. According to her mother it was because she wanted to avoid the crowds and give Rhea the opportunity to find an empty compartment. Dressed in flared blue jeans and a crop top, with a leather jacket to complete her outfit, Rhea blended in with the muggles as she, her mother and aunt walked towards the station.

Beside her, Seraphina wore black pants, heeled boots and a black hoodie with a jean jacket covering it. Her hood was up, covering her blonde hair. Lyra had been forced into a pair of flared jeans and an oversized jacket, and all she could do was grumble about how muggles had no sense of fashion or comfort.

They got a trolley and Rhea pushed it through the station until her mother stopped her. "This is where we have to depart, honey." Despite her mum's confident demeanour, Rhea noticed the way her eyes flickered around under the sunglasses she wore. She was scared someone would recognise her.

Before Rhea could react, her mother wrapped her in a bone-crushing hug. "I love you so very, very, very much," Seraphina told her, kissing the top of her head. "Now be careful-"

"Mum-"

"No, I am being serious," Rhea's mother said firmly. "Don't try to go after your father. Don't venture into the Forbidden Forest-"

"Why don't you just say 'don't break any rules?' and be done with it?" Rhea asked her.

"Because unless you break a few rules, I will disown you," Seraphina joked. "You have a legacy to live up to. You have Marauder-blood running through your veins, so make sure to get at least a few detentions," she winked. "Or even better — do something detention-worthy and get away with it."
