Nicholas Longbottom...

Yet another person Seraphina mentioned a few times. Nicholas was the adopted son of Frank and Alice along bottom and the biological son of Edward Longbottom and Clarissa Avery. It made him the nephew of Alec Avery, one of Seraphina's closest friends at school, who sadly passed away during the end of the war.

"It's a pleasure meeting you," Rhea said with a small smile, taking the hand Nicholas held out. "I'm Adhara."

"Nicholas," he offered a charming smile, showing off the dimples in his cheeks. "Sorry for nearly knocking you over earlier."

"It's nothing to worry about," Rhea said assuringly, taking her seat by the window again.

"I feel like we've missed something," Fred said with a frown. "What have we said about sweeping girls off their feet, Nicky?"

"You'll have to be careful with him, Addy," George warned her, "he may look all sweet and charming but he's a heartbreaker."

Nicholas sent a glare towards the twin, "Ignore them," he told Rhea. "That's what I do most of the time — only I share a dormitory and schedule with them."

Fred scoffed, "Like we want to share a dormitory with you and your Prefect badge."

"I suppose you'll start giving us detention for snoring now," George added, crossing his arms with a displeased glare.

Nicholas opened his mouth to respond just as the train rattled as the train slowed down. With a light frown, he looked down at his watch, "We can't be at Hogwarts already."

"Maybe the train is broken," Fred suggested.

"Or Dumbledore has finally made it quicker," George said as the two peered out the window. The train was getting slower and slower. As the noise of the pistons fell away, the wind and rain sounded louder than ever against the windows.

The train came to a stop with a jolt, and distant thuds and bangs told them that luggage had fallen out of the racks. Then, without warning, all the lamps went out and they were plunged into total darkness.

Rhea froze, "Is this normal?" she questioned cautiously as she picked up her wand. "Lumos," she then muttered to illuminate the compartment.

"No, it's not," Lee told her from where he remained seated next to her, holding his tarantula.

"It looks like something is moving out there," Fred noted.

"And they are coming aboard," George added, squinting to get a better look through the windows.
