I was just about to go to sleep when Benjamin came into the room.

Benjamin Donovan: Hey, Clau.

Clau: Hey

Benjamin Donovan: How are you feeling?

Clau: I can't stand up without falling and I have a bad headache.

Benjamin Donovan: I'm sorry

Clau: No need to be

Benjamin Donovan: No, I'm sorry for the weekend and what happened last week.

Clau: It's not your fault.

Benjamin Donovan: I still feel bad.

Sabastian Saw: Knock knock.

Benjamin Donovan: Leave, Sabastian.

Sabastian Saw: Why?

Benjamin Donovan: Really?

Sabastian Saw: I just came to apologize to Clau.

Benjamin Donovan: Do you think I'm stupid?

Sabastian Saw: Why are you protecting her?!

Benjamin Donovan: Because what you did wasn't right!

Sabastian Saw: I'm helping us all!

Benjamin Donovan: You don't have any proof of that!

Sabastian Saw: I came here to just apologize!

Clau: Benjamin, It's fine

Benjamin Donovan: Get out!

Sabastian Saw: Alright I'm leaving.

Sabastian Saw: And Benjamin you might wanna get to class.

Sabastian Saw: Goodbye, Clau I wish we could've been friends.

Benjamin Donovan: Don't mind him.

Me and Brielle part ways and go to our class specifically for what family we are in. I followed Ms.Mia to our class, our class door was giant and had a glowing white color. Everyone was complimenting each other on their hair and eyes as if we all don't have snow-white hair and olive eyes.

Ms.Mia: Get to your seats

Ms.Mia: For your first day, we're gonna learn how to use mind control.

Even though I wanted to learn how to use mind control I couldn't help but think about Brielle. I wondered how her first day was going so far.

Brielle

Sometimes I don't like being around other Manticores. The boys are so full of themselves and they feel like they have to be the alpha and some of the girls, NOT all, are evil. Like even if you touch them, they will take it as you threatening them. You might think I'm overreacting but if you've been around Manticores your whole life, you'd understand. Like for instance these girls on the Bench.

Girl #1: Some girl had the audacity to bump into me this morning.

Girl #2: What did you do about it?

Girl #1: All you need to know is that I took care of it.

Girl #2: I hope you cleaned up whatever you did.

Girl #2: You know you're close to being kicked out.

Girl #1: I don't care about that, Lady Carmine isn't gonna do anything.

Ok, that wasn't the best example, but it showed a little bit of what happens. The point is that Manticores, being lions and everything, feel that pride and being on top is everything so they do anything to be there no matter who they have to go through. But I would say I'm different, kinda. But anyway, I wish I at least had Texcean here. Plus Texcean is so into Benjamin but I don't trust him. I feel like he's putting on a front, I have never met a male Manticore who was that caring and he's been friends with Sabastian for like 6 years and switched up as soon as Clau came around.

Teacher: Hello Manticores!

Brielle Bassett: A male Manticore teacher too, what could be worse?

Teacher: Brielle, do you have something to share?

Brielle Bassett: No sir, I was just talking to myself.

Teacher: Ok

Teacher: Well back to my introduction, Hello Manticores!

Class: Hello!

Teacher: I'm Mister Aaron, your teacher for the year.

Mr. Aaron: And today we will learn how to breathe fire without hurting ourselves.

Mr. Aaron: Ok first-

I was just laying down in the nurse's office bored when Lady Carmine walks in. I hurry up and close my eyes and act like I'm asleep.

Lady Carmine: How are you feeling today, Clau?

Lady Carmine: Clau?

Lady Carmine: hmm, your sleep.

Lady Carmine: I guess I'll leave this right here for you.
