I stumbled my way down the corridor towards my quarters. It was training day so there was no point in me showering as I would only need to again later so I put on some fresh uniform. I headed towards the mess hall, the alcohol was definitely still in my system. I was a wobbling mess.
I sat down in between Petra and Levi adn started giggling slightly.
"Hey y/n, what's so funny this morning then?" Petra said smiling at me.
"Ohh nothing really~" I said in a sing song voice.
"l/n stay behind after breakfast." Levi said getting up to get himself another cup of tea.
"Oops guess I'm in trouble" I laughed as Petra gave me a weird look.
"Are you feeling alright?" She asked putting her hand up towards my forehead.
"Yeah~ I'm finee why?" I said tilting my head.
"The captain just told you to stay behind after breakfast is over. Your in shit y/n" Petra said laughing at the state I was in.
"Guess I am" I laughed back.
"Y/n~" Hange's voice came from the doorway to the mess hall. She was leaning against the doorframe. It looked like if she let go she would fall.
"Hange!" I said getting up and wobbling towards her.
"Come sit with us!" I said dragging her by the arm to come sit across from me at the table.
Levi had sat back down with another cup of tea and groaned at the sight of Hange sitting across from me.
"Good morning section commander Hange." Petra said giving her a polite smile while getting up to leave.
"Byee Petra!" I shouted after her just before returning my attention to the other two sat at the table, Levi and Hange.
"So then 'Captain' Levi" I slurred emphasising the 'captain' just before his name. Hange broke out into a little giggle at the way I said his name.
"Yes 'cadet' y/n" He said seemingly playing alone with my drunken state.
"Why did ya go and tell Hange over here about the other night?" I said putting my elbow on the table and putting my head in my hand.
"We're not talking about that right now y/n" Levi said in a low grumble so it was barely audible.
"Aww why not?" I pouted.
"Y/n~" My name fell out of Hange's mouth so smoothly it gave me butterflies. I turned my attention to her.
"Yes Hange?" I said batting my eyelids at her. My face had started to heat up slightly.
Hange stood up and made her way over to the other side of the table to sit next to me.
"How are you going to do training today if your still drunk?" She giggled putting her hand on my thigh.
"Huh I didn't think about that" I giggled with her for a little longer as Levi just sighed continuing to drink his tea.
Soon enough the bell rang to signal the end of breakfast. I got up to leave with Hange.
"Where do you think you're going Y/n?" Levi's monotoned voice said as he pulled my arm back down.
"To do training?" I said more of a question than a statement.
"No, I asked you to wait behind after breakfast." He huffed letting out his signature 'tch' sound afterwards.
"Hehe Goodluck y/n~" Hange said leaving me and Levi alone in the mess hall.
"So? Why did you need me to stay behind Levi" I was still slurring my words.
"You're drunk y/n" He said blankly
"Yes I know" I huffed getting impatient. Was this the only thing he kept me behind to tell me?
" " He was lost for words as my attitude towards him. I don't think he was expecting that out of me.
"Right now we've got that out of the way. Why did you tell her about the other night?" I groaned feeling my head start to get heavy from the lack of sleep I've had.
"I have my reasons." He said taking his last sip of his tea before putting it down.
"Nice. Fuck you Levi." I laughed getting up and leaving. He was being such a prick about it. Why did he tell Hange about it? Was there something that I just don't know and would make all of this make sence? Probably. I looked back to see him staring very intently at the table, I don't think he was epecting that either. What can I say I can be unpredictable when drunk.
Yeah the training really did show that. We had to slice the napes on the fake titans to gain points for our team. Which ever team got the most points out of all the three training exercises we did got to go for dinner early.
I was swinging through the forest just having fun when Petra came up beside me and told me to focus. I swung towards a titan about 60 feet away from me, he looked like a perfect first target. While swinging I made my moves look graceful and when I got closer to the titan I shot my hooks straight up and launched myself into the air. I detached my hooks once I had reached a good height and just left myself fall. It felt nice. Someone started screaming my name as I got closer and closer to the ground. Why were they so concerned I had this under control. Just before I hit the ground I launched my hooks onto the tree next to the titan and propelled myself towards it making a clean slice in the fake nape.
"Y/n! Are you fucking crazy!? We thought you were going to fucking die then!" I heard someone from my team yell.
"It's finee! I've got it under control!" I said back.
I spotted a new target and headed in that direction. For the rest of this exercise I tried out new skills that probably made me look stupid but it also showed that I had really good control over the ODM gear.
The rest of training went similar to this. I was just being really reckless. Every move I did had a chance of backfiring really badly. My team ended up having points taken from then due to my actions and endangering myself where unnecessary. But we still got to go for early dinner so It wasn't that bad.
