My friends Are Coming

After Lizzie's messages I found myself going to the hospital to see Gwen and Mellissa.

"Hey", I say softly opening the door.
"Hey", Gwen and Melissa say.
"How are y'all?", I ask.
"Bored", Gwen says going back on her phone. I scratch my head and walk over to Mellissa. Her eyes staying looking at my hand. As I walk to her.

"Did you get engaged to the girl who cheated on you ?", she says. I let out a small laugh.
"Technically we aren't together, it was complicated but no I am not engaged, it's more of a promise ring", I tell her sitting down.
"So she put you on a leash until she is ready to come date you?", she says with attitude.
"I'll let that one slide because I am sure you are hurting, but don't ever disrespect me like that. You are the one pushing us towards one another", I tell her, I feel bad.
"Sorry"
"Sorry", we both say at the same time.

"I didn't mean to..."she begins to talk. "It's okay, you don't have to..."
"You should go", she tells me
"Mellissa..", I say.
"I need space y/n, these feelings don't just go away in a day, I am still here for you work wise. I just don't think I can be your friend right now", I look at her and my eyes get teary.
"Shouldn't we talk about it?", I ask.
"There nothing to talk about just, please just go", she tells me looking down. I wait for her to look up at me and i see she has tears in her eyes too, I just turn around to walk away.

Two months later
Christmas is coming soon and I haven't seen Lizzie in person in two months. We planned on meeting up for the holidays since she is like have time off and I would be free as well. For the past few months we kept in touch with each other texting and calling. It was a causal friendship that we never gave ourselves the chance to go through the first time around. I still kept my ring on.

Gwen and Mellissa were finally out of the hospital. Gwen is staying with me for the Christmas break, I take care of her. Mellissa is always working, we haven't gotten the chance to talk about her feelings though she hasn't brought it up either. We avoid each other and kept it professional, which honestly hurt me a bit.

Ive been hanging out with Scarlett a lot and James, they have become good friends and we always go have dinner or for walks to clear our head. Lately I haven't seen much of her because she is preparing for a movie role she got. I just isolate myself in the studio from time to time, hoping to tour soon.

My EP releases on New Years which I was excited for. Me and James are currently on our way to a jewelry shop so I can get Lizzie a present for Christmas.

[Lizzies perspective]
The past two months have gone by fast, it is almost Christmas and I am going to New York to spend time with y/n, I was really looking forward to it.

The movie has been a fun experience, plaza has been great to work with, we have become great friends fast. I kept talking to Robbie, he also became a good friend, we occasionally go grab lunches together and just talk about music and random things. I am currently on set getting hair and makeup done.

"Knock! Knock!", Aubrey says bursting through my dressing room.
"Hey!", I say. She comes and gives me a hug.
"What are you're plans for the holidays?", she asked.
"I am going to New York until New Years", I tell her.
"Oooo whats in New York?", she asked and I just laugh and smile.
"Or should I be asking who is in New York ?", she asked wiggling her eyebrows. I just smile at her again blushing a little.

"Visiting a friend", I say.
"Friend? great! I love friends. I'll go with you! We should spend more time together. I really want to dive into your life, for the role of course", she tells me hugging me from behind my chair.
"Oh I don't know it won't be anything fun really just catching up with people", I tell her trying to make her stay.
"Cmon Lizzie, please!!! You won't even know I am there!", she tells me, I am screaming internally. "Okay fine", I tell her honestly disappointed I agreed to this.
She gives me a kiss on the cheek and runs out the dressing room.
