Today is the day of the premiere, I was really excited about it, I rolled out of bed and I ate some cereal. I took a shower in the put on some joggers and a T-shirt and put on some music to kill time before I had to get ready. I cleaned around the apartment and I got a call from scooter.
[the call]
Scooter- Hey Y/N
Me- Hey! What's up
Scooter- Heard you got Melissa as your agent, Good choice she is great! She also told me about the premiere for the movie, You haven't had any interview training yet but I doubt people will try to get into details with you because you are new.
Me- You think they would interview me ?
Scooter- You really aren't on the internet much huh ? Your coffee shop video is going viral ! People love your songs and want a studio version.
Me- I wasn't even aware you recorded me? but OH MY GOD
Scooter- Just in case, keep it short and simple and of course have fun ! Try to get on social media ASAP.
He hung up the phone, I grabbed my laptop to check on the video he was talking about and he was right, the video was going viral and all the comments were positive. Running off the happiness high, I start to get ready for the premiere. I call an Uber once I am ready. In the uber, I get a message from the stranger
[messages]
Stranger- Are you on your way ?
Me- Yes ma'am
Stranger- Great! Have fun! :) Ill have my eyes on you ;)
Me- Creeper, I assume you are security then?
Stranger- The world may never know...
I sat in the car for a few hours there was traffic and I had even left earlier than the event started but there was people with cameras, news, huge decoration and red carpets. I saw some cast members getting there photo taken and I got a bit nervous even though I was just there observing. I get out the car and I walk through crowds of people to enter the main event, I get stopped by a security.
"Ma'am do you have your pass?", I show him the pass and he scans it, 'VIP, you know a cast member or something?"
"Ah... no at least I don't think so", he looks at me confused, "Right so only cast member or directors get this access pass, I'll give you a band and that will let you go to the after party, Have fun!" Walk through the red carpet and you'll find the entrance", I was shocked, I guess the stranger was a director maybe? Or just really had good connections.
I go to the red carpet trying to speed walk towards even, I see Jeremy Renner getting his picture taken, Chris Evans and Robert getting asked questions, and others just hanging out waiting for there turn. I thought about how Scarlett should be around too but I was too shy to really be on the look out no matter how much I wanted to meet her and there was no signs of Elizabeth Olsen. As I finish walking the carpet I get stopped by an interview, Crap I panic.
"Hey you are the coffee shop girl!?", the interviewer said. Suddenly I felt the room go quiet and cameras pointing at me.
"Hi I am y/n Marshall, or yeah coffee shop girl", I say and someone snaps a picture of me.
"You're video has over 1 millions views and likes so far, rumors say scooter has signed you and everyone knows he has big artist"
I give a smile, "the rumors are true!"
"What brings you to the premiere of Captain America: Civil war?", they ask.
"I love Marvel! I was lucky enough to score some tickets"
"So y/n the people are dying to know are you team iron man or team captain"
"is Team Natasha an option?", I say causing them to laugh. "Ill let you know once I watch the movie, kind of torn at the moment", They continue to ask me some question and I answer them getting more comfortable with them, I even started to enjoy myself I didn't realize that Scarlett Johannsson was getting her photo taken right next to me.
"Who is your favorite Avenger?", they ask.
"Well, that is easy. Black widow, she got me into marvel since Iron man 2. I feel like she is very under appreciated, Scarlett has been one of the longest running female superheroes. She is Just a human girl who can kick ass you wouldn't love her.", I say.
"Scarlett! you have an admirer", the interviewer said and I turn around looking behind to see her smile. Holy shit how long had she been standing there? I smile at her and she walks over to me.
"Hi, I am Scarlett!", she says to me.
"Yeah! I know, sorry I don't mean to fan girl but I literally love you!", I say completing forgetting to keep my cool. She pulls me into a hug and I jump for excitement and squeal.
"OMG Scarlett Johansson is hugging me!' I look into the camera.
"You are meeting your idol Y/n how do you feel?", the interviewer asked.
"Really really happy", Scarlett just stares at me and smiles.
"Sorry I didn't mean to freak out its just you are you", I say.
"Its fine, I love your songs by the way! I saw your viral video you are really talented. Happy to meet you before you get crazy famous", she tells me. Holy shit she heard my music.
"looks like you are both fans of each other, y/n it was lovely talking to you. I know ill see more of you in the future. Enjoy the movie !"
"Thank you !", I walk away but Scarlett grabs my wrist stopping me.
"Come take a picture with me! You look great we got to capture these moments!"
"Yeah of course!" she grabs me back to the carpet, oh lord is this really happening right now, she told me I look great and I didn't compliment her back, Idiot I think to myself. We take a couple of pictures together and I notice one of the interviewers said Elizabeth Olsen, they pull her to the side to interview her I don't think she saw me, thank god. Scarlett and I are still taking pictures and she holds me by the waist causing me to blush, I think she noticed because she pulled away for a second and gave me a smirk. If I wasn't trying to be professional I would've passed out. I am staring at her deep green eyes and I here an Interviewer ask,
"Elizabeth what is your relationship status?!"
"Well as of today I don't have a husband... or a wife or kids!" I stare at her and she turns my say and we make brief eye contact and I excuse myself from Scarlett making my way inside. I thought about her phrase "wife" what does that mean?. As I walk away, I hear Scarlett yell at me.
"y/n Marshall save me a seat!", I turn back giving her a smile and a nod, then walk away quickly.
