After the show, me and Robbie went to the hotel to celebrate with the band and James came along with us.

"Wow! Ill never get tired of that, I mean isn't this fun? Touring with good friends and just being able to do what we love, music", Robbie tell us.

"Cheers to that", I tell him raising my drink. His phone rings.

"Oh, its Mel! I have to take this!", he says walking out the hotel room to answer the call. I shake my head

"You alright?", James asks.

"Yeah, I guess I miss my bestfriend", I tell him, he gives me a shocked face, "What?! I am right here!", he teases then gets more serious.

"Sometimes it's necessary for wounds to heal, but hey you have me in your corner and you have lizzie. Mel is moving on from her feelings for you not the friendship.", he tells me and I find this comforting, his words put me at ease. He was right.

"I am not even in a drinking mood anymore, I have something I have to plan but see you guys tomorrow", I tell them. James nods and heads out and the rest of the group go to rooms. Robbie stayed outside talking to Mel and I hung out in the kitchen planning the date for lizzie.

I set up flower arrangements to be sent to her trailer before our date with a note, and sent her matching decorations to set up our tables with so it felt like we were in the same place. Even ordering some, I sent over a phone stand for us to place our phone while we talk to each other.

Robbie walks in the room and walks over to me, "this is pretty romantic! who is this for...Wait! you and lizzie finally...", he says and I smile and nod.

"I am happy for you both", he tells me and I smile. "Can I ask you something?", he asks

"Sure, what is it?"

"The distance with you being on tour and her doing movies, how do you plan on managing that?"

"One day at a time, I guess. We were meant to talk after the show but didn't answer me. Filming hours are all over the place. Its hard but I am seeing her for her birthday, and hopefully some other times in these next few months. ", I tell him and he hums.

"You waited your whole life for this girl and now you waiting even more", he says and I just fall silence.

"I didn't mean for that to sound discouraging, your love with Lizzie is inspiring. I mean the way you look at her and the way she looks at you. The love speaks for itself.", he tells me, "if you ever feel overwhelmed with emotions just turn it into a song"

"I am actually having writers block", I tell him

"I think its just because you aren't heart broken anymore, you are digging into the wrong emotions", he advise and I smile.

"You are a genius but you also just said my songs are heartbreaking", I tell him and he laughs.

"Umm....No comment. Goodnight y/n!", he walks away to his room.

I stay planning the rest of the date and head to bed and try to brain storm new song ideas but nothing comes to mind and I end up falling asleep.

In the morning we all go out for breakfast and come back to hang out in the hotel. Everyone was being casual. We hung out getting to know each other a bit more. They all left to go to a restaurant and I stayed back with James. We played board games into he decided to leave me to go to his room to call his kids and wife.

Moments later my phone rings, it was lizzie.
