Please Don't Answer

James and Robbie leave the tour bus so I can have a private conversation with lizzie. Though I wanted her to answer the phone, I wasn't sure what I would tell her. What would I say? What if I freeze ? I dial the phone and I feel my hands go cold from hearing the phone ring.

The ring echo's through my ears over and over and over, until I am just there in silence and panic. I finally come to the conclusion that she is not going to answer and she doesn't answer. The phone goes to voicemail.

"Hey, this is lizzie, sorry I couldn't answer your call but if you decide to leave a voicemail I cant promise ill hear it"

I hang up the call. I try to walk outside the trailer and I see Robbie and James just sitting out the door.

"So?" James asked.

"No answer", we all sigh at the same time.

"It will be fine", James tells me.

"We are going to be in LA in two days, why don't you just wait to have the conversation in person?", Robbie asks and I smack him in the head.

"You mean to have the conversation when I go to Los Angeles and its lizzies birthday and valentines day?!", I tell him and he stays quiet. we all just sit there.

"Just keep trying to call her", James says and he walks away.

"Where are you going?", I ask him as he leaves.

"Somewhere", he says walking further away. He leaves me and Robbie alone.

"I am sorry I hit your head Robbie"

"I deserve it", he says.

"No, no you don't", I tell him and go back inside. He follows me in and we wait for James.

James perspective

I walk away to an abandoned parking lot, and i give a call to Mel.

"I know you said there is a contract but can we break the contract? there has to be a way to get ahead of the situation before it gets out of hand", I tell her.

"I need more time to break the contract, you just strung this on me a few minutes ago I cant just rip up the paper work and done", she tells me

"What about firing her?", I ask.

"and she gets upset and leaks the photos and makes the story, y/n looks like she fired a worker, then people make even nastier rumors of nothing. Between you and me....Was it really nothing or did y/n cheat?", she asked me and I felt upset that she would even question this.

"You were her bestfriend, you tell me what you think about that", I respond and she stays quiet.

"She wouldn't do that to lizzie, not on purpose... listen we have options but they all run risks. We can break the story first, get y/n on a talk show, get the host to ask her about the photos and the night and publicly say it was just a fun party with good friend and crew workers blah blah..."

"y/n hasn't told lizzie yet, if she goes on a show before she gets to talk to lizzie, that could cause problems.", I tell her, and she sighs.

"They aren't public so I am sure that something they can handle behind closed doors, publicly nobody will be affected and you are taking control of the narrative. I am sorry if it seems dirty, but its just one way. I am sure Lizzie will understand", she explains

"I don't believe it is worth it to put that kinda pressure on Lizzie and y/n's relationship. I've dealt with many other celebrities before y/n, I've seen worse. I just didn't want her to go through something like this."
