As Aria was wheeled down the hall I felt my life falling apart. My little girl, my life was on a hospital table and I could do nothing to help her.
Me and Oliver sat impatiently for what felt like days. Oliver wrapped his arm around me to try and comfort me, but all I could think was she could be deign and I'm sat here doing nothing. My eyes were all red and puffy from crying and I could see he was trying hard to hold back his. Oliver was very unsettled he started pacing the hall way after a while. It was starting to get annoying watching him walk up and down for ages. "Miss Smoak" a doctor called out. "Yes that's me please tell me she's okay" I said tears starting to fall again. "Are use the parents" he said seeming confused, probably because Oliver was there. "I'm her mother and this is..." But Oliver cut me off before I could finish. "Oliver queen I'm a close friend" "well Aria had a embolism, which is a blood clot in her brain. We had to operate" my legs became and I fell into Oliver as the doctor carried on. "The operation was successful and your daughter is going to be okay. She still under medication now, and won't be awake for a while" the doctor said with a slight smile on his face. "Can I see her please" I say in relief. "Yes she's down the hall" he said pointing to her room. I went as quickly as I could with Oliver right behind me. As I walked in she was hooked up to loads of wires. She looked so small and fragile, it broke my heart. I sat beside her on the chair and waiting for her to wake up "Oliver I really appreciate you staying here with me, and it's okay if you want to go now." "Felicity" he said kneeling down beside me and placing his hand over mine. "I ant to be here for Aria. For you" he placed his hand on my cheek and I laid against it. "Thank you" I said softly.Aria barely sleeps at home, and I'm always wishing she'll stay asleep along. But now all I want her to do is open her eyes. It felt like id been waiting for ever for her to awaken even though it hadn't even been an hour. My head was laid on her bed and I was holding her hand. Oliver was by the window watching over us. "Mommy" a weak voice said and my head shot up, and Oliver came over to the bed. "Hey sweetie, how you feeling" I say stroking her face. "My head hurts and I'm tired. Mommy where am i" she was so confused. "Were at the hospital, you hurt you head but the doctors made you all better" tears tried to escape but I held them back because I didn't want to scare her.. But it was really hard I was so worried. "How about some jello kiddo" Oliver said. I knew he did it so I could go out side and cry so she didn't have to see me. "Yes please" she said "I'll go and get you some sweetie" I said and placed a kiss on her forehead.
Oliver's POV
"You are so brave kid, I'm really proud of you" Oliver said and sat by the side of her bed. "Was I superhero brave" she said in an excited tone. "Yeah you were like a superhero" I said with a giggle. "Like the arrow he's a superhero. He fights the bad guys. He's really brave" she said. "Your braver than the arrow" I said with a smile. She gave the sweetest giggle and it made my face light up.Felicity's POV
As I sat outside and let my tears out, I could hear Arias and Oliver's conversation. "Like the arrow he's a superhero" my face lit up, she believes he's a super hero. She thinks Oliver's a superhero. A smile spread across my face. That's when I realised I want to start a life with Oliver.
