(Warning: This post contains SPOILERS from my book "The Prince and the Spiderman" so I advice you not to read this if you haven't check out the book if you don't want to get spoiled, if that doesn't matter to you then read and if this makes you curous go and check out the book)
Giving birth to Arash:
At first, Arash didn't have a faceclaim, I just write about him and that was it, I never knew about that part of the fanfiction world until I landed on Wattpad (I had the book up in other page before coming to Wattpad) I was just putting myself in my head as Arash, I mean part of how I gave birth to him as a character with the Middle East background and the name was because according to my mom her side of the family has some Arabic background and the first letter of Arash name is also the first letter of my real name, so it was like basically, inserting myself in the Marvel world with powers I mix up from the plot of "Prince of Persia" videogames one of my top 10 favorite videogames series and the Invisible Woman, because you know...gay lol
Later I decided I wanted a faceclaim, because I saw how interactive was this site with the cast posts, videos, playlist, social media like content and all that, I spended a good 2 days doing that because most Middle East actors don't look like teenagers like, I had either David Mazouz from "Gotham" or Avan Jogia from "Victorious" but I wasn't happy with them, then I got the idea of looking for singers or YouTubers, suddenly I remember, Zayn, then I saw him, I saw Arash right there, the idea of him with the blond hair like when Arash's hair change color or even the blonde streak he had, so I choose to use Zayn from his One Direction days.

Part 1 of the book:
Like halfway through this part is when I decided the faceclaim and did the "Cast" and "About..." posts, Eddie was a plan added halfway after I saw "Venom", first he was gonna be a random dude, but then I thought "Eddie Brock teen version", but just to be clear, I never planned on him to be like part of a "love triangle" in my head I was still following the idea of Peter wanting to be with Liz while struggling to understand his feelings for Arash beyond a friendship, so Eddie was there to not leave my boy alone for a bit and also to give a little push to Peter to "step up" because I thought that it was is unrealistic to stop Arash love life to wait for Peter while he was chasing Liz.
The idea of the undercover name and keeping his identity as a Prince hidden was something I was very up for from the beginning just like the use of the "Cat" and "Tiger" nicknames from the 90's Spider-Man cartoon, just to have a cute little reference, what I didn't expect is to write a dialogue with Peter going "is the combination of your alias, your real name and my nickname" that just came out of nowhere lol
