Violet stayed the night at Daniel and Amanda's once again. She's really enjoyed all the extra time with Daniel lately doing karate again. Especially since her and Louie's relationship is iffy at the moment since she hit her breaking point with him while Lucille was in town.
She and Anthony walk into the kitchen to see a broken coffee cup and spilled coffee on the ground, but no sign of Daniel or Amanda.
"What happened here?" Violet asks out loud, to no one in particular.
"Oh, cool!" Anthony says, running outside.
Violet follows him outside to see Daniel out there with none other than Johnny Lawrence.
"Kick his ass, dad!" Anthony shouts.
Daniel quickly turns around, noticing the kids' presence. "Anthony, Violet, just go inside."
"Listen to your dad, kids!" Johnny says. "You're not gonna want to see this!"
"Hey!" Daniel snaps. "I'm gonna ask you nice. Get the hell off my property or I'm calling the police."
"Oh yeah, you afraid?" Johnny taunts.
"You know, this is ridiculous-" Daniel takes out his phone and Johnny tries to grab it. Daniel blocks his hand and they spin around each other, now in fighting position. "Come on, Johnny! You wanna do this? Let's go!"
"What is going on?" Amanda asks, walking outside.
"Dad's about to fight this guy!" Anthony beams.
"A 1984 All Valley reenactment." Violet jokes.
"Amanda, just please go inside." Daniel holds his hand out. "This is between me and Sensei Lawrence."
"You two seem to have this pretty well in hand. Just a normal Saturday afternoon, a couple of grown men about to kick each other in to a pool." Amanda says sarcastically, making Violet laugh. "As much as I would love to watch you and your childhood karate rival duke it out, I kinda don't want to get any blood on the patio. So what do you say we resolve this over some breakfast instead?"
"You wanna go inside?" Daniel asks, maintaining his fighting position.
"I could eat." Johnny agrees.
Everyone goes inside and Violet helps Amanda make eggs, bacon, and toast. Once it's ready, the four of them sit at the table. Over the course of the meal, Violet finds out that her dad and his "friends" blew up Johnny's car and Louie tried hitting Johnny with a baseball bat, so she no longer finds it funny.
